Completely flat San Fulgencio offers bikers and walkers alike, plenty of scope for this activity. La Marina is not all completely flat, so use of a car is a must. Facilities include 3 banks, public swimming, bowling, bike hire, snooker clubs, supermarkets, pharmancy, doctor, a great variety of bars and resturants including English, Spanish and German.They are all within easy reach but far enough away for a good nights sleep. La Marina has a market on Thursdays & Sundays. Next to the main shops is a tourist information centre as well. La Marina has recently benefited from a newly built police station for 2006, and now has its own ambulance as well. A couple of minutes drive from the villa we also have the newly built supermarket Mercadona which is far cheaper than the others. There is also plenty of new bars/restuarants opening, but still far enough away for a peaceful stay, yet near enough for your pleasure.

We would highly recommend car hire for your holiday duration. There are plenty af car hire companies to choose from, in the area or at the airport. Our local car hire company is called Lara Cars. You can reserve your car on-line with them at www.laracars.com

If car hire is not your choice then there is a good local bus service taking you to the towns and markets, and of course the beach in the summer. 

Costa Blanca Beaches - Some 200km of white sandy beaches, to explore. El Pinet in La marina has the Blue European Flag denoting excellant beach standards and lifeguards.La Canadela restuarant situated on the beach has a great selection of food to choose from, the squid is especially nice if you like fish. If fish is not to your taste buds, then theres plenty more to choose from. PAELLLA being the most popular dish ordered.If your not hungry and just fancy a drink, have a cool ice beer from the bar on the beach, and just relax.........
You will need a car to get to the beach, less than 5 minutes drive away.

Guardamar - Tradtionally a Spanish town with plenty of bars and resturants. Visits to the Guardamar castle & sand dunes where you can ride camels.Guardamar is full of life in the Summer months, fabulous day and night time markets, wonderful childrens fun fair (colours are amazing). Lovely beach, with lifeguards and pedaloes.

Santa Pola - Castle of Santa Pola, salt museum,Tower of Tamarit, Rio Safari Park(Elche) where you can visit the reptiles, birds,crocodiles and have camel rides, while enjoying the nature of 4.000 adult palm trees.

Villa Martin, Las Ramblas, Campoamar - 3 excellant golf courses.

Alicante - Various museums and castles, Alenda Golf course, Land of Valencia Theme Park.

Torrevieja - Visits to the Moor Tower(Torre del Moro), La Mata and Torreviejas natural lake parks, Salinas - The Salt Lakes and Museum of the The Sea and Salt plus plenty more.
Great restuarants, bars and lovely shops all kept cool for your comfort. Delightful night time markets, childrens fun fair full of colour. NEW FOR 2008 IN TORREVIEJA. Valencia regional president Francisco Camps opened the 21 million euro Marina Salinas. Giving 700 new berths will increase capactity in the harbour to 1,700. THE MARINA WILL ALSO BENEFIT FROM A RESTUARANT, CAFETERIA AND RETAIL OUTLETS, ALL ONLY 30 MINUTES AWAY. WE VISITED THE NEW MARINA IN APRIL, YOU ARE NOW ABLE TO WALK AROUND THE MARINA BY WAY OF A EXTENDED BRIDGE. SOME OF THE BOATS BERTHING THERE ARE FANTASTIC.THE END RESULT OF THIS ON GOING PROJECT WILL BE VERY IMPRESSIVE.


GUADALEST: Situated about half an hour from Benidorm, one of the most beautiful places we have visited in Spain, so far. This is what you would expect of traditional Spain. Scenery views are simply out of this world. A town full of white washed La Casas (houses) dripping with geraniums. Small elegant cobbled streets, with fabulous shops. Take a walk through the castle, then climb to the top, you wont be disappointed. Visit the tiny museums set up between the shops and learn how the spanish lived.This is a full but wonderful day, lots of walking so carry light.

EXTRA FACILITIES AT PROPERTY:

We have a barbecue & tools for your use, and two beach umbrellas. They are all left in the shed at the side of the property. Please leave the barbecue clean for future guests.

We provide all cleaning liquids for your use, this has been recently mentioned in a review as very useful and a bonus for a self contained holiday.
All wardrobes are provided with wooden coat hangers, and a professional hairdryer is left in the main bedroom.

A small selection of books are left in the side board in the dining area

An ice box and ice packs, plastic plates knives forks etc.,for use at the beach or days out.










 

Our villa is located in a stunning location between the Costa Blanca coastline and mountain range El Molar which can be seen from the veranda to the right of the property, all a ten min drive away. Opposite sits the orange groves which give off a beautiful smell in the mornings. The property is maintained to a high standard with good quality furniture and contemporary in design. It is cleaned after each stay (SEE EXTRAS). The pool is maintained by Paul from a company called THE POOL MAN. British registered ISRM, he will keep the pool in tip top condition for you. There are also a small selection of floats and toys for the children. Please note BEACH TOWELS are NOT provided so please bring your own. All 2 week durations include a change of bed linen. The property has intercom, lockable gates and an alarm fitted. There is also a safe for your use (we take no responsibility for any items left in the safe).

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, cycling, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, walking, golf, a sports center, scuba diving, historic sites, a theatre/cinema, a themepark.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find climbing, flying, mountain biking.

Go carting racing is 10 mins away, by car.

Boat trip to an island, for great snorkling, about 10 mins away.

Aysha says: "Thank you so much for letting us rent your villa on 1/9/09-8/9/09. We have never gone for a villa in the past only because we thought it would be far too much hassle. But after booking this one we DO NOT want to go back to package holidays. The villa was immaculate, it had everything you could possibly ask for it was so equip for a holiday in the sun. Fortunutely we had over 30degrees heat everyday so the swimming pool was amazing we only went to the beach once as we didnt want to leave the pool. I would recommend this villa to family, friends, work collegues, everyone i know as I feel this was good value for money, And am already thinking about booking up again for next year. We did hire a car and did drive around which was good as we visited quite a few different places. The supermarket was near by so you could get all fresh produce which we did and used the BBQ nearly every night. Thanks again Donna & Craig. "
