The Atos De la Bahia cosmopolitan neighbourhood consists of beautiful white and beige family houses overlooking the sea at La Mata Beach in the heart of Torrevieja city.
Torrevieja is located in the Spanish region of Alicante on the Costa Blanca and has numerous salt lakes and Blue Flag sandy beaches. The longest beach, La Mata, is 2,250m long and is 10 minutes walk from Casa Familia for the average adults. Kids however, may take a little longer. It boasts of clean waters, white sand, beautiful hotels and restaurants, parking and other amenities such as toilets, promenades, life guards, telephone booths, buses, ice cream parlours etc.

The climate in Torrevieja is dry and mild throughout the year with 360 days of sun and an average annual temperature of 18C. In the summer months however, the temperature averages at 35C
Torrevieja itself is considered by the WHO to have one of the healthiest climates in the World and as a result is a popular destination for holiday makers and expatriates young and old from all parts of Europe. Furthermore it rests between 20minutes drive of both Alicante and Murcia airports.
 

This is a large and modern 3 Bedroom NO SMOKING Villa which sleeps 6. In addition, it is:
- A few paces away from a huge and buzzing communal Pool
- 10 minutes (Adults) walking distance of La Mata Beach. Kids may take a little longer.
- 1 minute walk to a Community Park
- 5 -10 minutes walk to local Bars and restaurants of many nationalities including Chinese, Irish, English and Indian.
- 10 minutes drive to a Sports centre
- 10 minutes drive to the beautiful Aqua Park
- 15 minutes drive to a golf Course.
- 15 minutes drive to the massive Carrefour and Habenaras shopping complexes (including Macdonalds for the kids!)
- 15 minutes drive to the excellent and lively TorreviajaTown Centre.

There is easy access to regular buses and taxis. However a car is recommended for ease of travel especially further afield such as Benidorm.

All the rooms and Living room are fully air conditioned/ heated, and fully furnished with the following:

The Villa has an on site Manager who is always on site to welcome guests.

There is a small complimentary Welcome Pack per booking containing essential starter food items such as Tea/ Coffee, water, bread, butter and a bottle of wine.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, sea views. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, fishing, cycling, golf, a sports center, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a themepark, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find ...nothing specified.

Eleche town - 40 mins drive - has a Leather Shoe factory which sells direct to the public cheaply

Simon says: "As any parent knows travelling with two young children can be a fraught with difficulties so it was important to us that the accommodation met all our needs. I was a bit apprehensive at first about booking from the internet but was thrilled when we arrived and the villa far exceeded its write up. It was a little difficult to find but Sam & John were more than welcoming and helpful (they met us part way!) The villa itself was immaculate, as well-equipped as our own home (it really was like travelling home from home) and in a quiet location but not too far from all amenities & beach. The welcome pack was a lovely additional touch & the owner's file of instructions were very helpful. I would highly recommend hiring a car to get a bit further afield away from the main tourist areas but the local supermarket is excellent and barely a 5 minute walk, the beach was clean & local and it was a bit cold (we went in november!) to try the pool! Highly recommend Elche, other beaches towards Cartagena, the Rio Safari & local markets. We had a wonderful time & our children loved it. Thank you very much!"
