Gran Alacant is 8km south of Alicante Airport and is approximately 10 minutes drive to the apartment Gran Alacant is situated on a hillside and is perfect for families or people wanting to enjoy a relaxing holiday without the hustle and bustle of large resorts. Please note although Gran Alacant is near the airport it is not on the flight path and no aircraft noise can be heard.

Gran Alacant is on an urbanization but is a relaxing area for a holiday with good bars and restaurants, both Spanish and English, within walking distance from the apartment. There are numerous supermarkets and an open air market for all your haggling every Thursday morning.

Gran Alacant is a perfect place to explore other areas on the Costa Blanca. Hire car is recommended but if you do not want to drive the locals in Gran Alacant can offer day trips at very reasonable prices. There is also a frequent bus service to Alicante City and Santa Pola.

Gran Alacant is not suitable for people who want to be in a busy resort with nightclubs.




 

The beautiful beach at Arenales del Sol is just a few minutes drive by car. There is a regular bus service down the hill to the beach. You can walk it but the hill is very steep and it is a lomg walk. Arenelos is a Spanish resort with restaurants/cafes at “Spanish” prices with a 3 course meal (menu of the day) costing €8.00 including wine or beer.

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin. . This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool.

The apartment has television satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
