Trullo Serena is a completely renovated ancient trullo. It is situated in Capo di Gallo on a hilltop a few kilometres from Alberobello with wonderful far reaching views across the Itria Valley. It has been decorated to take advantage of the original features of a trullo with a bright and cheery feel.

 

The trullo sits in its own grounds of around half an acre with olive, fig, almond and cherry trees 

Outside is a 50 square metre swimming pool, which has wide steps into the shallow end and a diving board off the deep end. It also has a large terrace with barbeque, pergola with outdoor table and chairs, sun-loungers and occasional tables. A beautiful old olive tree dominates the garden.
 

THE LOUNGE. The lounge is the main trullo cone and includes an alcove with sitting area with an open fireplace. There is comfortable leather furniture, occasional chairs and TV, DVD and CD player. DINING AREA. Off the lounge is the dining alcove with seating for six at the table KITCHEN. The kitchen has been created in a small cone and is fully equiped with a washing machine, fridge freezer, oven, hob and stone worktops. BEDROOM 1. A double room with king size bed, with an excellent shower room with heated towel rails. It has a patio door to the pergola and pool. BEDROOM 2. A double room with king size bed and patio door to the pergola and pool. BEDROOM 3. A twin bedded room with patio door to terrace and pool . This room can be converted to a kingsize bed as the twins are equiped with the ability to connect. SHOWER ROOM. Between bedrooms two and three is another excellent shower room equiped with heated towel rails.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking, cycling.

Close to the villa you will find horse riding, historic sites, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find a beach, fishing, golf, a zoo.

Mark says: "My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Alberobello and the villa. The property was beautiful. Although the weather did not favour use of the pool, we both said wed love to visit again, just a few weeks earlier. We enjoyed long walks in the immediate area as well as car trips almost daily to the local markets in the different nearby towns. It was nice seeing the same faces at the stalls and also being recognised by some. Great food to take back to the villa and cook, either inside or at the BBQ.
