Airy Cottage is a spacious family home which is ideal for a family holiday. It has been recently and sympathetically refurbished to offer accomodation for families of up to 8 people. Airy Cottage has full central heating, 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms (2 Doubles and 2 Twin), a seperate TV room (idela for older children) a spacious lounge, a large dining room with an open fire (ideal for sitting in post dinner with friends/family with a glass of wine on those cooler winter evenings). Airy also benefits from a large garden and an enclosed deck area to the front of the property. 

Tighnabruaich has the following amenities: 2 local general stores, 2 local post offices, 3 local hotels, 2 local bistros/eateries, a sailing school, a golf course (9 holes), a childrens play park, a shinty pitch, tennis courts, a beach within 10 minutes and a collection of antique/bric a brac shops. 

You can get to Tarbert via the Portavadie ferry, Tarbet is a lovely picturesque town built round a harbour. Dunoon with a wealth of shops and restuarants/tea rooms is reached easily within half an hour by car, Dunoon has 2 supermarkets, various hotels and restuarants and a swimming pool. 

The cottage comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The cottage has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The cottage has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, vinyl records, cds, radio.

There is room for 7 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this cottage.

The cottage is in a very quiet area. It has a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Within easy reach of the cottage you will find historic sites, a theatre/cinema.

Antoine says: "The house is nice with much space. We have enjoyed the backyard much; thanks to the kind weather. It is quite well equiped though we didn't have a BBQ available. That is the only really annoying point; we were quite disappointed as it was advertise to have a grill in the garden! The surrondings are nice; you can take some walks directly from the house and by driving a bit you find even more walking path. If you need calm, nature, that's where you want to go. The counter part is that the house is located in a quite rural area; if you intend to go see some touristic spots beware that a couple of hours of drivnig are required."
