The villa is situated in Northern bali in a village just 10 minutes from the tourist Town of Lovina with it's shops, restaurants, bars and clubs. the village of Banjar is a mix of local balinese and some westerners. fishermen launch their boats on the beach on the beach and local school chlldren play football on the beach. We fell in love with this property because of it's location. It is not in a tourist location , it is in a Balinese hindu village. the locals are very friendly and welcoming. A small corner shop (warung) is just 2 doors from our villa where you can buy local supplies, unless you can speak balinese you will have to use sign language. There is also a hot food seller who sells delicious balinese rice dishes for just 30p a dish.
Our villa is situated directly overlooking the beach, which is a mixture of sandy yellow and black sand depending on the season. In the winter months the sand is black and is considered to be beneficial for arthritis sufferers and for skin complaints, the older generation bury themselves benefitting from the high magnetic content of the sand minerals. The beach is slightly sloping and for the more adventurous about half a mile form shore there a reef for snorkelling or you could ask a local fisherman for a lift. Organised snorkelling and dolphin trips operate from the main beach in Lovina. There is also a zoo in one of the hotels that has 3 seawater pools where you can swim with dolphins,  

Just 5 minutes away there are the Banjar hot springs which are slightly sulpherous, a beautiful stone pool with high power massage jets. We visit these springs every morning as they are so refreshing 

 

There is a jacuzzi area next to the swimming pool where you can sit and dip your feet into whilst enjoying a cool drink. There is also an outside bar area with fridge. Next to the pool there is an outside shower useful to use after a swim in the sea before swimming in pool. All bed linen and towels provided. Rooms and living areas cleaned daily. All meals prepared by our cook, Chosen from a menu, Notice must be given one day in advance. Only the cost of the food is charged for. Payment made when ordering food in local currency.

The villa comprises 5 bedrooms in total; 3 double, 2 twin. . This gives room for up to 10 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a fridge, a kettle. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The builidng is single storey, all the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the ground floor. 

The location of the villa means you will hear some noise, though not excessive. It has a private swimming pool, a garden, a summer house, a patio area, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
