Baan Talay is a luxurious beach house set in beautiful tropical gardens, nestled on a secluded white-sandy beach on the picturesque southeastern coast of Koh Samui, Thailand.

On arriving, you first enter through antique doors into a tropical walled garden, crossing over a large pond bountiful with Koi carp surrounded by tropical plants and flowers. The water is fed from an old waterfall set in the background, where there is a shady sala for those quiet times for reflection. A feeling of tranquility and peace abound.

Baan Talay gives an immediate feel you are living in Thailand, with its traditional Ayutthaya Thai-style roofs and architecture. It is carefully designed to blend traditional, elegant and tropical design with comfortable and functional contemporary style living.

The villa is spacious, bright and airy, with high, wood-paneled vaulted ceilings, polished teakwood floors and large glass picture windows to make the most of the views over the Gulf of Siam. It combines a variety of traditional antiques and Thai furniture with the convenience of today’s modern technology


Luxury beachside living

Baan Talay has a large living area, combining a lounge, gourmet kitchen and traditional formal dining area, an ideal place to come together. All the accommodation is to the side of the villa, leaving unspoilt access & views through to its beachside frontage.

Once outside, you will discover one of the most the breathtaking beachfront locations in Samui. From the spacious decking under the large overhanging roof, there is a spacious freeform swimming pool surrounded by the natural granite rocks adjacent to a large sundeck with sun loungers and umbrellas. There is also a large secluded Jacuzzi set among more granite rocks, as well as an outside bucket shower to freshen up after a day in the hot tropical sunshine. Set in the gardens next to the sundecks is the outdoor eating area, where you can sit and enjoy with food from the BBQ and cool drinks from the bar.

The beach stretches out in front of the villa, with white sand afoot and magnificent views to the north and south of Samui. The beach is ideal for families with large stretches of sand and small pools for children to play in. Being away form the busy Samui tourist areas, the beaches are always quiet with at the most a handful of tourists and a few fishermen. During the winter months the beaches around here form a top location for kite-Boarding, with its shallow sandy lagoon.


Accomodation

Master bedroom. A beautiful king-size bed with natural furnishings overlooks the gardens to the beachside of the villa. There is also a comfortable seating area, wardrobes including a walk-in wardrobe, large bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and inside/outside shower.

2nd Bedroom. Situated next to the Master bedroom, this room has two beds that can also be made into one queen sized bed, with an interlocking door for those people who have children they want to keep an eye on, again with its’ own ensuite bathroom and shower.

TV/study. Next to the 2nd bedroom and overlooking the pond is the TV room, with a desk and seating area set up to watch satellite TV and DVD videos. This room can also be made into an extra bedroom

Guest bedroom. Tucked away next to the waterfall in a tranquil setting is the guest bedroom, again with queen sized bed, spacious wardrobes and ensuite bathroom and shower.




Facilities & conveniences

Although living in a tropical paradise, you won't be isolated, as Baan Talay has all the modern conveniences such as Email and Internet Access, Satellite TV, and Telephones.

Baan Talay also has a full-time villa manageress who is able to help ensure you have a perfect holiday. Fiona, supported by our three staff ensure Baan Talay provides fully serviced accommodation, taking care of the rooms, gardens and pools. Fiona can also arrange for you to have an in-house chef should you wish, or provide food or wine/drinks, organize tours, activities or taxis, and there is also the villa car available for rent. We can even arrange for you to have a massage & beauty treatments in our own sala

Samui is also home to excellent medical care, with hospitals, clinics, dentists and pharmacies all around the island. Together with all the various health spas, many of which are within a short distance of Baan Talay, all your health care needs can be taken care of.

Baan Talay, or “Sea House”, is a contemporary Thai-style luxury villa, located directly on the quiet and secluded Natien beach, on the southeastern coast of Koh Samui. The villa is bright and airy, with high, wood-paneled vaulted ceilings, polished teakwood floors, and large windows and glass doors throughout. The beachfront free-form swimming pool, Jacuzzi and deck are accessed from the master bedroom and living room. Al-fresco dining by the beach is facilitated by the built-in barbeque., outdoor fridge/sink. For more formal dining, the large living room includes a dining area and a gourmet kitchen, in addition to the lounge area. The king-size master bedroom is located off the living area, and also faces the sea view. The en-suite bathroom includes a spa tub, and a large indoor-outdoor shower. The adjacent twin bedroom can be directly accessed via a connecting door; an ideal feature for parents wishing to keep an eye on their children.

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 3 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 4 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 2 double sofa beds. This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 5 bathrooms and 5 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television and home cinema with dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 10 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a summer house, a east facing patio area, a south facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside a beach, swimming, wind surfing, walking.

Close to the villa you will find sailing, water skiing, boat hire, fishing, climbing, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, tennis, scuba diving, a zoo, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.
