Villa on the island of Phuket, Thailand: This very special and exquisite property is built in the style that has come to be known as 'Ayutthaya', named after the ancient Thai capital. Built by local craftsmen for the Thai/European owners it is perfectly suited to the tropical climate of Thailand. The villa is secluded yet close to the amenities of Chalong and Phuket Town. It sits right on the beach at Chalong Bay in extensive tropical gardens and overlooks the wide vista of the bay with it's many small islands and spectacular sunrises. The elegant design of these traditional teak-wood pavillions allows guest's to enjoy 'open space' living whilst combining western comforts and the luxury you would expect from the best boutique hotel properties in the world. Inside the pavillions are a harmonious mix of stylish oriental antique decor, solid wood Thai antique furniture, Thai silk drapes and bed linen, highly polished teak wood floors and walls, beamed ceilings with ceiling fans & exquisite antique glass cases displaying old Thai artefacts.
There are two swimming pools at Baan Sang Pathum. The main pool which is floodlit and measures 18m x 8m and includes a jacuzzi, and a smaller pool measuring 9m x 4m. The main pool includes a wooden open air Thai massage Sala which juts into the pool and is a very relaxing spot to keep an eye on the kids enjoying an afternoon at the pool, as you catch up on your reading.
 

Chalong Bay is situated 15 minutes drive to the south of Phuket Town. There are some fine beaches in this area, namely Chalong Bay, Rawai Beach and Nai Harn beach. There are lots of very good seafood restaurants nearby along the seashore at Rawai Beach. There is a very good recently opened shopping mall 15 minutes drive from Baan Sang Pathum which includes very good supermarkets, department stores, cinemas, restaurants and bowling alleys. There is an exceptional privately owned 'Real English Pub' 2 minutes drive from Baan Sang Pathum that has been featured on one of Keith Floyds programmes. The food and drink here are in the best of contemporary English country pub class and should not be missed. Chalong Bay is a shallow tidal area, which is ideal for families with young children to explore the rock pools and tidal flats. Nearby Nai Harn beach is great for surfing, and lunch or dinner at the adjacent Le Meridien Phuket Yacht Club Hotel is a great experience.
Golfers will feel they have arrived in golfing paradise as the courses are stunningly good, the club houses are palatial and offer a standard of facilities undreamed of elsewhere, caddies are provided at all courses and green fees are surprisingly low. We have a detailed knowledge of golf in this area and so can arrange tee times and give detailed advice to ensure you have the most wonderful experience. 

Baan Sang Pathum is a very large and exclusive property which can sleep up to 10 persons. The rates quoted are for a maximum of 10 persons. Baan Sang Pathum is perfect for families, or for honeymooners who want to stay in an extra special setting with stunning views. When you make a reservation we will confirm to you that no other party will be renting at the same time, which will mean you will have complete privacy in your own very large luxurious beach front property.
We will pick you up from Phuket International Airport on your arrival and return you to the airport at the end of your stay at Baan Sang Pathum. To add an extra dimension we recommend hiring a car during your stay, (driving is on the left), we keep a car at the villa which can be rented by our guests. We require a 25% deposit on booking. The balance can be paid to our bank one month before travelling along with a returnable security deposit of $1,000. The security deposit will be returned within 30 days of your departure less the cost of any breakages, metered elecetricity and telephone calls. Quality linen is provided throughout all the villas, including beach towels. There are live in maids and gardeners on the premises who will provide a daily maid service during the length of your stay. Children are most welcome, but we would ask the parents to ensure they respect the houses and antique furniture.
Rates include VAT, provincial taxes, maid service and all bills (with the exception of charges for telephone calls and metered electricity made during your rental period). Please note that as rates are quoted in US Dollars, they may vary slightly due to changes in the exchange rate.
 

The villa comprises 5 bedrooms in total; 5 double and 2 cots, 5 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 10 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 5 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. A computer with Internet connection is also available for your use. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls and a fax machine.

There is room for 10 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
