The Penthouse

The highest condo at the Andaman Cove sleeps 7 persons over 4067 sq ft [internal 2582sq ft external 1614 sq ft] of luxury accommodation. Ideal for large families or a group of friends the condo is decorated in Evason style and comprises 3/4 bedrooms:

A master bedroom with king sized bed, en suite marble bathroom, work desk and Cable TV/Dvd player. Plus direct access to two huge sun terraces and their spectacular sun rises.

A large twin bedroom, next door to the master bedroom - perfect for any accompanying children.

A further double bedroom with a king sized bed and its own private balcony.

A single bed in the kids room in the roof with lockable access to the viewing balcony.

The Penthouse’s large living room comes with a fully stock-able bar, a western standard kitchen and a separate converted loft or kids den in the roof equipped with Television, Ps2/DvD and a host of games and movies. A single bed and sofas inside the loft can provide an extra sleeping area for children or their nannies.

The main lounge is fitted with a professional home cinema system. Equipped with, UBC True Satellite TV, Amplifier, 3 Front facing speakers, 2 in-ceiling speakers, IPod connection, projector and 92inch screen it provides the ultimate in home entertainment technology and an awe inspiring movie experience.

The most noteworthy features however are the spectacular views from the lounge balcony, the separate viewing balcony and the huge sun terraces complete with sun lounges, garden furniture and outdoor rain shower! For those wishing to treat themselves the view alone from the Penthouse will be enough to take your breath away if the cinema system already hasn’t!

 

Activties

There are activities to suit young and old alike at the Evason. In addition to the swimming pools, shops, gym and Spa there are lots of sports and other activities on offer.

Just Kids Club.
Located immediately behind the Garden Pool is a club house run by professionals whose sole purpose is to keep your children entertained safely and happily all day. Youngsters from 5-12 learn and have fun at the same time. Their minds are challenged by intellectual puzzles and their bodies exercised through physical games. Unexpected freedom is available for those parents who take advantage of the nightly sleep overs, secure in the knowledge their children are closely supervised. Alternatively baby sitting services for children of any age can be arranged.

Games Room
Teenagers and adults alike will enjoy playing pool, table tennis and table football or throwing a few darts in the airy and cheerful Games Room. There are computers for the sole use of those wishing to play video games whilst for those who prefer their holiday quieter there is a large television screen with UBC TV which shows sports and movies.

Tennis courts.
Within the grounds are two tennis courts and a practice court. Both are hard courts and for a small charge can be floodlit should you wish to play in the evening when the heat is less intense. Coaching lessons are available on request and complimentary water is provided.

Walking
Stroll through the beautiful landscaped grounds of the complex or even walk to Laemka Beach. It only takes a few minutes and is easily reached via the exit near the boat station. Though it is a public beach it is almost deserted apart from on Sundays and holidays. The water is clear and the sand clean and for the adventurousThai food beverages and massages can be purchased very cheaply. The Evason provides complimentary mats and towels for your use on the beach.

Water Sports
Many tourists visit Phuket for its pristine beaches, myriad of picturesque islands and the sports afforded by the Andaman Sea. Trips to nearby islands can be organised at the Evason’s Dive Centre - Poseidon, snorkelling gear or deep sea equipment can be hired and diving courses arranged for beginners.

Swimming pools
Five star resorts have five star facilities and there are five different pools spread throughout the complex; one of which is sure to suit your mood and needs.

If you wish to quietly relax and gaze at the spectacular views of Phi Phi Island 30 miles away then the Infinity Pool is for you. This adult only pool has a bar serving food and drink situated directly behind the sun deck on which there are sun loungers.

If you have children, then the family pool is for you. You can keep an eye on your children as you swim beneath the waterfall in the deeper section of the pool whilst they play on the waterslide in the shallower part. This pool also has a bar serving food and beverages.

If you prefer to listen to your ipod or read a novel with the occasional foray into the water to cool off, the Garden Pool will suit you. This peaceful haven is set amid palm trees and colourful tropical flower. White clad waiters will bring you food and drink. You won’t even had to get off your sun bed.

Perhaps you want privacy or a quick dip after an afternoon on the balcony of your condo. Then try one of the smaller pools for the exclusive use of the condos. They are literally just outside your door. A waterfall cascades from one the upper to the lower pool and should your family want a Jacuzzi there is one into which the six of you can fit.

Fitness and Beauty.
It is your vacation so pamper and indulge yourself. There is a fully equipped gym near the family pool, open from early in the morning till 8pm should you want to tone up those pecs through energetic exercise. The fitness centre has bicycles, running machines weights, aerobic steppers medicine balls etc.You can work out at your own pace beneath the high ceiling of this air conditioned room that has a great view of the family pool.

Alternatively spend an afternoon at the Six Senses Spa. The Spa, the last word in luxury, extends over three floors and has 2 saunas, 2 steam room and a total of 13 treatment rooms. Of these 6 are single treatment rooms, 3 are for couples and feature double baths and the remaining 4 are in the salas on the spa terrace with wonderful views of the Andaman Sea. The extensive range of beauty treatments on offer relax , revitalise and heal tired bodies and minds. Signature Six Senses treatment and include Specialist Bodywork, Decleor Signature Massage, Thai Treatments , Six Senses Sodashi Face, Six Senses Sodashi Body, Spa Beauty and Bath Menu. Shopping.
High quality presents or souvenirs are sold by the select shops located in the lobby of the main complex. In addition to being able to purchase Six Senses products, elegant jewellery, hand carved Asian handicrafts and startling colourful Thai paintings can also be bought.

Entertainment
The main complex houses a library, open from 8am -10 pm where a selection of newspapers and magazines can be read in the comfort of easy chairs. An ever changing variety of the latest novels can be borrowed free of charge. VCDs , DVDS, and CDs can be borrowed though a small charge applies and two computers are available for rent should you want to check emails. If there is an emergency at work, the fully equipped business centre will enable you to quickly resolve the problem and return to holiday mode. Yet the lobby area and into the beach bar are all free wireless spots if you just need to check your emails and have your own laptop.

Medical .
Should you be mildly indisposed the friendly and experienced nurse will help with medical advice and treatment. Her clinic can be found just below the lobby area and is open everyday from 1pm -7pm.

BON ISLAND
No trip to the Evason is complete without a day on Bon Island. Complimentary speed boats leave every thirty minutes from Laemka Beach for the twenty minute sail beach to the resorts’ private beach. The island mirrors the Evason in its facilities. You can relax on a sun bed under a palm covered coconut tree, or for that extra touch of luxury hire your own sala for the day. You can eat at the small restaurant, have a Six Senses Massage or enjoy a sun downer at the bar ‘the tree by the sea’ as you watch the more energetic sail in the Hobbie Cat, canoe or windsurf. Its name says it all any day at this island is guaranteed to be good!

The penthouse comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin, 1 single and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 2 single sofa beds located in the In the lounge and kids room.. This gives room for up to 7 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The penthouse has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the penthouse cool. The penthouse has a sauna.

The penthouse has television and home cinema with video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls. Recreational activities available with the penthouse include a home gym, a snooker/pool table, table tennis.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The penthouse is in a very quiet area. It has a private swimming pool, access to a shared swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, a balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque, a tennis court. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The penthouse is right beside a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, mountain biking, tennis, a sports center, scuba diving, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the penthouse you will find climbing, horse riding, golf, historic sites, a zoo, a theatre/cinema.

Within easy reach of the penthouse you will find flying, a themepark.

Helen says: "Our family of 5 stayed for 13 nights and very much enjoyed the Penthouse, Evason Resort and Bon Island facilities. Yes the resort has lots of stairs, but it was good exercise to help counteract the excesses of holiday living. Our three children (8, 8, 10) loved the Kids room, Playstation & (husband) big screen projector. Numerous friends were staying at another resort but we had no regrets in choosing to go it alone and stay in the Penthouse. Mat & Eli were friendly and helpful and provided a very good service if you actually want or need anything. Eli cooked and looked after the kids for us a couple of times while we went out for the evening. All in all a truly memorable holiday and we hope to return in the not too distant future!"
