From the designated private parking place it is a short walk to the patio outside the maisonette, which has been recently re-furbished in bright and cheerful colours. There is a barbecue on the patio, a table, chairs and a large parasol. A double door leads into the living area, which has a kitchen with twin hob, sink fridge and microwave cooker and a small oven. Pots, pans, glasses, crockery etc. are stored in the cupboards in the kitchen area. A table and 4 folding pine chairs (inside the table); a bed settee which sleeps 2 and a colour television are also provided in this room. At the rear of the room a beaded curtain doorway leads to a small room on the right with an bunk beds for 2 . The newly refurbished bathroom is on the left with a toilet, washbasin, bath and shower and a clothes washing machine. An open stair leads to the Mezzanine, which has a double bed, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers.
 

It is a 5-minute walk to the shops and restaurants of St Pierre which is a popular seaside resort on 8 klm of safe sandy beaches. The activities include fishing, sand sailing, scuba diving, surfing, cycling, jet skiing and horse riding.
Just to the back of the house by your car park there open country for walking known as La Clape. You can also hire Quad motor bikes here.
There is a daily market on the promenade.
It is a short drive to Narbonne with all it's shops , restauants, super markets etc. Narbonne is a beautiful city with a cathedral and the Midi Canal running through the center. There is also a market here on Thursdays and Sunday. Don't miss the famous food hall in the center known as Le Halle.
There are more places of interest to visit than one holiday will allow.

The location of the house means you will hear some noise, though not excessive. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing patio area, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Close to the house you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, tennis, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema.

Within easy reach of the house you will find a zoo.

There is a large shared swimming pool on the residence but it is only open in JULY & AUGUST.
