Blended seamlessly into the tropical landscaping is a shared social area with pool, reserved exclusively for use by the Ocean Loft owners and their guests, providing a casual shaded setting for relaxing and entertaining.

The Lofts are steps form the beach, a short stroll over the flat stone footpaths that wind through the community to the sand.

A shared car park insures the serenity of the enclave, allowing owners to park at the entrance of the community and be driven by golf cart from their cars to their front doors

The Azuero Peninsula is considered the heartland of Panama and is famous for its traditions and folklore. The community of Pedasi still gathers in the town square around a century old church.

Undoubtedly one of the main attractions to this area is the endless number of deserted beaches that are surrounded by lush tropical landscapes intertwined with enchanting rolling hills.

Beaches near the Ocean Lofts in Pedasí:

El Arenal, used by local fishermen to launch small fishing boats
Playa El Toro, which has a left and right point break for surfing
Playa La Garita
Playa El Lagarto which has left and right beach breaks for surfing
Playa El Lanchón
Playa El Cascajal
Playa Los Destiladeros, which has several breaks for surfing
Puerto Escondido
Playa Los Panamaes
Playa la Miel
Punta Chumico
Playa Tortuga
Playa Venado, which boasts world class surf competitions
The Azuero Peninsula is otherwise known as Panama´s dry ark, as it experiences less rainfall throughout the year than any other part of the country. The area´s climate is frequently compared to the desirable Guanacaste province of Costa Rica.

The tip of the Azuero Peninsula is also a surfer’s paradise with beaches such as Playa Venado, Cambutal and Lagarto beaches.

The east coast of the Azuero Peninsula is commonly called the “tuna coast” and is widely knowned for its world class fishing. You will find many fish such as: Tuna, Amberjack, Wahoo, Dorado, Marlin, African Pompano and many more.

Isla Iguana
Thirty minutes off the coast of Pedasi is the national wildlife refuge Isla Iguana. This is truly a beautiful island surrounded by 16-hectares of protected coral reef. The 2 beaches on Isla Iguana have fine white sand and clear turquoise waters. You may be fortunate to catch a glimpse of humpback whales between the months of June and November or find yourself spearfishing along side hammerhead sharks and dolphins. Isla Iguana is also a popular mating spot for the estimated 5,000 Red-Throated Frigate marine birds and 5 different species of turtles.

Isla Cañas
A small, thin, green island running parallel to the southernmost coast in Panama, Isla Canas is a beautiful, isolated paradise. The island is famous for its vast stretch of golden beach that doubles as sea-turtle nesting grounds in September and October. During the peak season, there are hundreds of enormous turtles lining this tropical island.

Many rivers important to this area with beautiful waterfalls to explore, such as the Tonosì, Guànico, Cobachòn, Portobelo, Punta Blanca, Sierra, Varadero and the Pavo.

The coastline of the park includes coral reefs, coastal cliffs, and mangrove swamps. The mountain areas are covered by vast dense forests, and the home to over 95 species of birds including the endangered scarlet macaw, the painted parakeet, the king vulture, osprey, and mangrove black-hawk. There is also a large population of white tailed deer living within the park, as well as jaguars and ocelots.

Pedasi Town
When you arrive to Pedasi you will notice that all the your stress and worries from the city will start to disappear from your mind. On the main street of Pedasi you see colorful little houses with red tile roofs, surrounded by flowers. You find the villagers relaxing in their rocking chairs after a hard day of work or just sitting on the front porch with family, friends and neighbors talking and laughing about their days. The people of Pedasi always greet visitors with a smile and great hospitality. They are the friendliest people you will find anywhere in the world.

February’s Carnivale is the annual high point of local life in Pedasí, which is renowned for the most exuberant celebration. The town divides itself into two factions, Calle Arriba (upper street) and Calle Abajo (lower street), each with their respective queens, competing with floats, music and fireworks. After the celebration, the winning queen is chosen by popular vote. Also celebrated in Pedasi is the fiesta of Santa Catalina (St Catherine’s Day) on November 25.

The Ocean Lofts were designed by world renowned architect Gilles Saint-Gilles, who is responsible for many fashion boutiques, Saudi Arabian palaces, and many high end apartments internationally. Mr. Saint-Gilles wonderfully blends an elegant, exquisite design with old world craftsmanship. By using local teak wood for most of his design, he encapsulates the rustic feel of Panama in an innovative, timeless way. The Master bedroom, on the upper floor, has a luxurious queen size bed with complimenting bedside tables and lamps. The ceiling has stained wooden beams interlocked together to form its unique structure. The innovative circular design feature allows a full view to the floor below. The center of the loft is a true masterpiece that connects the architectural elements of the loft from both levels. The Ocean Lofts have four large balconies, affording wonderful ocean views.
