Nestled in a quiet cul de sac, Rio Santo Annex A is undoubtedly a good place to retreat to from the daily hustle and bustle. Its bedroom is fully air-conditioned and can sleep two persons comfortably. A cot provides sleeping for one additional person. There is one bathroom, equipped with whirlpool bath. The kitchen is outfitted with modern appliances, cutlery, plates, cooking utensils, etc., while the laundry is equipped with washer and dryer. The living areas are tastefully furnished. There is a spacious rooftop sundeck. Outdoors, there is adequate space for vehicular parking as well as room for sitting out or barbecueing.
 

Nearby, within walking distance, are supermarkets, banks, medical offices, pharmacy, shops, hotels, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. There is also the Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary, a bird sanctuary of diverse species, not far away. The area is heavily trafficked, well-lighted and safe for walking. As the property is virtually on the bus transportation route, a car is not essential but most people elect to have one, especially for sight-seeing and travel to venues outside the immediate vicinity. For those preferring not to drive themselves, taxi service is readily available.

Within 10 minutes by car are the Rockley Golf Club, the National Tennis Centre, the Garrison Historic Area (including the Garrison Savannah horseracing track), and the Museum and Historical Society. It is about 15 minutes to the capital city Bridgetown and 20 minutes to the Grantley Adams International Airport.
 

The South Coast of Barbados has great appeal to the visitor. It is vibrant, with great night life and many excellent restaurants. The best known area is the popular St. Lawrence Gap. There you will find the After Dark Night Club, the popular Pisces Restaurant, The Ship Inn offering a sports bar, restaurant and nightclub, Josef’s Restaurant, the Bay Bistro, McBride’s, and gaming arcades, among other attractions. Also within easy reach is Oistin’s Town, famous for its fresh fish fries and down-to-earth ambience.
