Rio Santo is a charming 3-bedroom cottage, with 2 one-bedroom apartments attached, situated in Worthing, Christ Church, on the popular South Coast of Barbados, a mere 2-minute walk from a naturally white sandy beach and the crystal clear turquoise waters of the placid Caribbean sea. Also close by is the very popular Accra Beach.

Nestled in a quiet cul de sac, Rio Santo is undoubtedly a good place to retreat to from the daily hustle and bustle. Its bedrooms are fully air-conditioned and can sleep five persons comfortably. A sofa-bed provides sleeping for two additional persons. There are two bathrooms - one en suite and a general bathroom. The kitchen is outfitted with modern appliances, cutlery, plates, cooking utensils, etc., while the laundry area is equipped with washer and dryer. The living areas are tastefully furnished and feature, in addition to an ample living room, a spacious verandah for relaxation or entertaining, with a small wet bar attached. Outdoors, there is adequate space for vehicular parking as well as room for sitting out or barbequing.
 

Nearby, within walking distance, are supermarkets, banks, medical offices, pharmacy, shops, hotels, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. There is also the Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary, a bird sanctuary of diverse species, not far away. The area is heavily trafficked, well-lighted and safe for walking. As the property is virtually on the bus transportation route, a car is not essential but most people elect to have one, especially for sight-seeing and travel to venues outside the immediate vicinity. For those preferring not to drive themselves, taxi service is readily available.

Within 10 minutes by car are the Rockley Golf Club, the National Tennis Centre, the Garrison Historic Area (including the Garrison Savannah horseracing track), and the Museum and Historical Society. It is about 15 minutes to the capital city Bridgetown and 20 minutes to the Grantley Adams International Airport.
 

The South Coast of Barbados has great appeal to the visitor. It is vibrant, with great night life and many excellent restaurants. The best known area is the popular St. Lawrence Gap. There you will find the After Dark Night Club, the popular Pisces Restaurant, The Ship Inn offering a sports bar, restaurant and nightclub, Josef’s Restaurant, the Bay Bistro, McBride’s, and gaming arcades, among others attractions. Also within easy reach is Oistin’s Town, famous for its fresh fish fries and down-to-earth ambience.

The house comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The house has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the house cool.

The house has television video, satellite/cable. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The property is in an excellent location and the beach is just behind the main road a mere 1.5 minute walk if that! Whatmore, St Lawrence Gap is about 15 minutes walk away (The Gap is where the best clubs and bars are). The Villa is within 10/15 minute drive to Bridgetown. I loved my holiday very much and it very much had to do with our Villa and its location. "
