This charming designer apartment has a spacious livingroom comprising 2 spaces; a dining area with capacity for up to 4 people and a lounge area, where there´s a large comfortable sofa and a double sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences like a microwave, dishwasher or a kettle; the bathroom benefits from full modernisation with a heated towel rail and an en suite bath and the exterior double bedroom is decorated in natural rustic style and has a double bed. The balcony overlooks a treelined cobbled street. The apartment has also central heating and air conditioning. In the apartment we leave a collection of dvds in several languages ( all with english subtitles)
Its best advantage, though, is its location as it´s in a 6min. walk from the train station of Estacio de Franca that takes you directly to the airport( journey takes 33min and trains depart every 30 minutes); and also from 2 different metro lines; Arc de triomf( red line) and JaumeI( yellow one).
There are also many buses and the main bus station is in a 10 min walk( Estacio del Nord).
The apartment is located in the upcoming and trendiest area in town at the moment, the Born, with its charming squares, narrow streets, nice terraces, innovative restaurants, lively bars, museums, art galleries and designer shops, but the street is very calm.
There are many touristic sites in a 5min walk from the apartment like the Gothic Quarter, the Cathedral, the Picasso Museum, the Modernist building of Palace of the Music, the gothic church of Sta Mª del Mar, the biggest parc in town( Parc de Ciutadella), the Zoo, the monument of Arc de Triomf, the ruins of Born market, the 2nd oldest food market in the city to buy fresh products( Sta Caterina Market).
In a 10 minute walk you have the beach ( Barceloneta), the Port, the most famous avenue in town ( Ramblas), and square ( Plaza Catalunya), the 2 main shopping streets and the oldest food market in town.
 

The apartment is fully equipped with all modern conveniences. Thus, it has air conditioning, central heating, fan ceilings, dvd player, stereo system, a collection of dvds, microwave, toaster, washing machine, dishwasher, a kettle, juice maker..
A travelling cot is provided upon request ( 10€/day)

In 5 minutes from the apartment you find 2 stops from 2 different metro lines: Arc de Triomf ( red line) and JaumeI ( yellow line); the train that takes you direct to the airport, journey takes 33 minutes and trains run every 30 minutes. Also several city buses and a car parking at the end of the street that costs 50€/week

In 10 minutes walk you have the city Central Bus station ( Estacio del Nord) and the neuralgic city center, from where all the taxis depart ( Plaza Catalunya)

You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The location is great for a first timer in the city, everything (even the parc for children) is very close, it comes fully equipped and the owner is very friendly and helpful. Only bad thing, we couldn´t stay longer
