Located in a small exclusive passage between Las Ramblas and Plaza Real. Both street gates are locked every night to ensure safety of the residents. The building is a modernist work of art, recently renovated, with elevator, and has a porter. 

The apartment (85m2 or 950 ft2) is nicely furnished and fully equipped, and is very quiet considering its location. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, a bathroom, and a spacious living room furnished with two sofa-beds and a dining table for eight people. On the upper floor there are two bedrooms (one double and one twin) and another bathroom.

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool.

The apartment has television video, dvd. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this apartment.

The location of the apartment means you will hear some noise, though not excessive.

The apartment is right beside walking, cycling, historic sites, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Diahann says: "The excellence of both the property and the service we received during our stay cannot be overstated. EVERYTHING was outstanding!!! I traveled with my fiance, my parents (in their 70's) and my niece (early 20's). Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. The location was perfecto - steps from the Plaza Real, we walked easily to great shops, excellent restaurants, Starbucks(!!), Barcelona Cathedral, Picasso museum and the harborfront. The building itself is extremely secure, with a locked iron gate leading to the passage where the building is located, directly from Las Ramblas. Transportation to and from the airport was a breeze, even for my non-spanish-speaking parents who navigated their way there on their own, as we traveled in 3 separate groups. Our host, Juan, was there to meet them and did not leave til' they were settled in; he was extremely sensitive to their needs - even transfering them from the duplex apt. I originally rented, to another, more convenient apt., where all rooms were on the same level. We actually rented 2 apts for our party, but the apts were so large, comfortably furnished and accommodating, we could easily have shared 1 place. (The price I paid for the 2 apts was less than the cost of one week in a 3 star hotel for 1 double room). Both apartments were immaculately clean, plumbing and hot water well up to North American standards. 1 apartment had a dishwasher, both had washing machines - which we made much use of. Detergent, glass and silverware, linen, towels, irons etc, were all supplied. Juan himself was available to us at all hours of the day or night to answer questions and help resolve issues (my international Sprint cell phone refused to work in Barcelona - Juan came up with an ingenious solution! He also acted as liaison between ourselves and the airport/airline personnel who tracked down our lost luggage). I could go on and on and on - you get the point. I have already recommended these apartments to friends and family since my return to the US - and plan to stay here and nowhere else on all subsequent trips to Barcelona - which I hope will be many!!"
