Chaconia is one of eight luxurious apartments facing right on to the Caribbean sea. The building known as ‘Black Rock Dreams’ was built in a style reminiscent of the Colonial era, but with all the modern luxuries we have come to expect in our busy lives. We have furnished Chaconia as our own home, not as a holiday home. We have equipped it with all the things that we enjoy when we are on holiday and our guests, to date, seem to appreciate the finishing touches. Over 50% of our bookings for 2009 are repeat visitors.
All linen is provided, along with beach towels. There is a safe for your valuables, a telephone for incoming and local outgoing calls and wifi for those who cannot live without the modern world. There is also a burglar alarm. Car parking is in an underground garage. A car is not essential but will give you more flexibility, petrol is very cheap (about £14 for a full tank), however taxi’s are easy and cheap
 

Carrie, our Canadian Property Manager, organises ‘Meet & Greet’ from Crown Point Airport and provides a ‘welcome’ pack of basic foods (included in your rental price). Her husband, Reuben, runs a great tour company, so between them they will be able suggest/organise any trips or sightseeing. We have a wonderful maid, Lenore, who comes 6 days a week to take care of the apartment. For a small charge, + the cost of groceries, she will cook you a great local meal... You may decide that staying in is more fun than eating out... There are however many restaurants a short drive away, and one ‘The Seahorse’ is within walking distance. We have only found 2 restaurants on the island who demand long trousers for men - shorts are definitely order of the day.

The apartment comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool.

The apartment has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming calls only.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, a balcony, sea views. If you are driving there is a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The apartment is right beside a beach, swimming, scuba diving.

Close to the apartment you will find wind surfing, fishing, walking, horse riding, golf, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will find historic sites.

Snorkeling, deep sea fishing, kite surfing.

Watch Leatherback turtles laying eggs or hatching. Tour Grafton Bird Sanctuary.
