This wonderful old property is enclosed in its own courtyard garden enclosed by barns on all sides.

Downstairs there is a large dining room with a small kitchen and bathroom off the dining room. A door leading to the hall and front door and double aspect sitting room. The dining room has a huge open fire and the sitting room wood burning stove.

Wooden stairs lead from the back door uptstairs to 5 bedooms and a bathroom.

The stairs continue up to the attic which is empty.
 

There are 5 bedroom, 2 of which are adoining. The beds are as follows:

Bedroom 1 - 1 double bed
Bedroom 2 - 1 double bed plus 2 singles
Bedroom 3 - 1 double bed , 1 single plus 1 cabin bed
Bedroom 4 & 5 - 1 doule bed with cot and childs bed in adjoining room.  

This is a wonderful large and comfortable house with lots of space for large families with children. We welcome pets as long as the owners are responsible. The gardens provide a great playground. We have lots of games for indoors and out. The barns are empty but obviously care should be taken for any hazards to children. There is also a Well and cellar and whilst there is a locked gate, children muxt be warned well to keep clear. 

There is a large supply of logs available, if needed. There are also sun loungers, parasols and garden table and chairs available for guests. New for 2008, oil fired central heating has been installed.

The farm house comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 4 double and 2 cots. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the SITTING ROOM. This gives room for up to 14 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The farm house has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The farm house has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 12 in the living room and 12 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this farm house.

Pets are not welcome

The farm house is in a very quiet area. It has a north facing garden, panoramic views. If you are driving there is private parking.

The farm house is right beside walking.

Close to the farm house you will find swimming, boat hire, fishing, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the farm house you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, wind surfing, climbing, horse riding, golf, tennis, a sports center, historic sites, a museum, a zoo, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a themepark.

KATHY says: "The farmhouse was utterly charming, very French, well equipped and comfortable with lots of extras which made it home from home. Very helpful owners. We went in the heart of winter and were glad we'd packed warm pyjamas!! This is a chance to get a real piece of rural france - the neighbours were 2 black and white cows!! Lovely local walks - a shame the restaurant at the end of the road was closed as it's being sold - that would have made an excellent, and close, watering hole. The nearest town/village was a little too far to walk with a 3 year old but had supermarkets, bakers, lovely square etc about 5 minutes drive away. Great access to the coast (about an hour, maybe a bit under) Mont St Michel and Granville made lovely and easily accessible days out, as did Bayeux and Caen. Unbelievably close to Festyland if you haver kids (about 20 mins down the road) - great day out!! Highly recommend this house, found it through this site and would use both again."
