Villa Elvira is a luxurious villa (two floors/320m2), with high-quality accommodation, set in a splendid unique private garden (3000m2) including tropical areas and stocked by eucalyptus, pine and fruit trees. Located on the top of a hill just two step from Forio (one of the six commons on the island) , Villa Elvira offers to its guests a very comfortable and relaxing environment with all the comforts (air conditioning, garage) and it’s, at the same time, an ideal setting for those wishing to visit the entire island of Ischia. The villa has a private swimming pool (300 m3) with hydro-massage, several relaxing reading corners, surrounded by palms, lemon and fig trees, a lovely patio, a big terrace (200 m2) and an exclusive solarium on the Villa’s roof (30m2), both with a fantastic panoramic view. Completely restored and fully furnished in a comfortable and charming fashion in line with the island style, the villa has an indoor large space (70 m2) including a reading-chess corner and a comfortable living room with a fireplace, 3 bathrooms and a fully equipment kitchen. The bedrooms are 6 but their availability is not the same. The double sofabed is in a bedroom, for 2/3 under the garden level and the third part is up, there is also a window, but some hours of the day you have to light.
The ideal and comfortable accomodation is for 10 + 2 or 3 people.
The position is close to the ancient volcano “Epomeo” mountain, the villa is only at 600 m distant from the beach, 3 minute walking distance to the main road, for the shopping area and the bus services. The nearest town (1 km) is Forio, an unspoilt, medium sized port town with tasteful shops and a wide choice of typical restaurant and bars. Facilities, including many delightful fully-equipped beaches (“Citara”, “La Chiaia”, San Francesco” and “Cava dell’ Isola”), a bay with its famous hot springs (“baia di Sorgeto”), thermal resort (Poseidon).
 

Ischia is well-known all over the world for many singular aspects as the therapeutic thermalism.
The phenomenon of thermalism is present on the island because of the “Epomeo” mountain (800 m.), an ancient volcano, which is surrounded by a wonderful pines wood and gives the opportunity of interesting excursions (mushrooms and chestnut picking) and panoramic walking. The "Poseidon thermal garden", located in Forio, is the most important thermal complex with over than 20 hot water swimming pools, in which you could spend an unforgettable and relaxing day, enjoying its therapeutic proprieties. However, a direct access to the hot water springs in the sea is also possible in “Sorgeto” and “Nitrodi” localities, where you could also experiment the famous Ischia mud, excellent for all dermatological problems.
Moreover, Ischia, the so called Green Island, is also renowned for its ancient history witnessed by the “Aragonese” castle and by the “Pithecusae” archaeological museum with geek and roman devices, giving evidence of Ischia’s past.

Forio has a wide choice of beautiful restaurants with a splendid sea sight as “da Ciccio”, “La Sirena sul mare” and “Umberto a Mare”, renowned for their day-fresh sea food, or with a suggestive location as “da Peppina di Renato”, where you should taste the exquisite traditional Italian cuisine. Moreover, you could decide to spend an unforgettable night tasting the creative cuisine of the “Il Melograno” restaurant (one star Michelin), known all over the world for its suggestive and original plates, or to dance all the night in one of the many disco bar, situated on the seafront road.
However Forio organizes each year also some cultural events, as cinema review (this year “Luchino Visconti” festival), exposition and book presentation in the main square.
Well-known are also the Forio’s beaches as “Cava della Isola”, “la Chiaia”, “San Francesco”, provided with all the comforts (shower, cabin, beach-front restaurants and small bars). Particularly suggestive is the Citara’s bay, where is located also the most important thermal complex of the island “Giardini Poseidon”.
Indeed, Forio offers you several services as car, bike, motorbike and boat renting and sport activities as scuba-diving, montain bike, trekking and montain walking.
Finally, excursions directed to Capri, Sorrento, Amalfi, Ventotene and Ponza have also daily departures from Forio’s harbour.

Moreover the biggest double bedroom has a king size bed three places, decorated with a marvellous painting on the ceiling, the chest of drawers and the bedside tables of 19 century mahogany and a direct access to the huge garden and to a lovely patio. Finally, the twin beds and the twin bunk beds have their commune access to the biggest panoramic terrace of 200m2.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 cots. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the In one double beds room there is one more single bed, not a sofabed., 1 double sofa bed located in the it's a bedroom with a sofabed for two persons.., 2 double bunk beds located in the close to the kitchen there is a little room with a single bed for one person. The other double bunkbeds is at the first level and it's comfortable.. This gives room for up to 13 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use.

The villa has television. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. Recreational activities available with the villa include table tennis.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 14 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, glassware, cooking utensils.
