Casa Vistamare apartment is the entire ground floor of the villa, which is set in a garden stocked with grape vines & fruit trees, lying in an extremely quite & peaceful location in the Montecorvo foothills of Ischia. Guests will love the truly stunning, virtually 180°panoramic view of the Tyrrhenian sea (Mediterranean).

Despite the secluded location the apartment is only 5 minutes downhill stroll to the main road and bus services. The nearest town (1.5 km.) is Panza, convenient for shopping and restaurants. The apartment is 6 km. from the main town of Forio, 12 km. from Ischia Porto. 

Because the apartment has its own pool guests may be inclined not to venture any further for swimming. However there are many delightful beaches within easy reach, particularly Citara (and the thermal resort Poseidon), St Angelo & the Sorgeto bay with its famous hot springs. 

Public transport on Ischia is excellent, frequent & cheap! However renting a car is undoubtedly more convenient and will spare guests the exercise of walking uphill to go home!

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 2 double and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the main bedroom, 1 double sofa bed located in the second bedroom. This gives room for up to 5 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The apartment has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has a private west facing swimming pool, a west facing garden, a west facing patio area, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Close to the apartment you will find a beach, boat hire, fishing, walking, historic sites, a museum, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will find scuba diving, a theatre/cinema.

Stephanie says: "I cannot recomend this villa highly enough. Michael Burrows the owner, could not have been kinder, nor more helpful. We only rented the lower half of the villa which has a delightful terrace and pool with stunning views of the sea. The villa is well equipped, clean and all mod cons provided. All the basics were there and more. We had a fantastic holiday and explored the whole of Ischia. We hired a car, which Michael arranged for us. A Fiat Panda. The drive up to the villa is steep and very, very narrow and we would not have wanted a larger car. Only drive if you have nerves of steel. The local dogs have better road sense than the pedestrians and expect the mopeds and cars to do the opposite of what you would expect. However you soon get the hang of it and I would not have wanted to walk up the track in the heat. Very good supermarket at the bottom of the track, though we also shopped in excellant small shops in Panza and Forio. "
