The location
Originally a watch tower dating back to medieval times, this building has recently been converted into two delightful apartments. Set amongst the greenery hills, with wide views over the sea and the surrounding countryside of vineyards and lemon groves, it is in a very peaceful and quiet position. The area is delightful, with many small hamlets, churches and other places of historic interest to discover. The building is situated on the edge of the pretty, ancient hamlet of Vettica , just 3,5 kilometres away from Amalfi. The house has been carefully restored and the typical features of each room, that's terracotta and majolica tiled floors, high vaulted ceilings, ancient roofs made of wood beams, and white-washed walls have been saved in the original shape with the addition of the modern kitchens and bathrooms. The rooms are light, spacious and comfortably furnished .
