2400 sq foot panabode log home with over 500 sq. feet of decking overlooking hottub and pool area. Is located right across the road from Georgian Bay, this cottage has deeded ( we can use at any time)access to the water, one access point is a sandy beach and the closer access point is a pebble beach. We are located on a wooded street located on lot just across from some elegant waterfront homes. This chalet is located in the heart of Georgian Bay tourist area, we are 45 minutes from the worlds longest fresh water sandy beach, Wasaga Beach, 5 minutes up the road is Christie beach , the same sand but just smaller and more private, and 1 hour from the chalet to the West is Sauble Beach, world famous sand beach in its own right. Right across the street are two private beaches, one pebbly and one sandy which you have unlimited use of, but you dont have to leave the lot should you prefer the temperature of your own heated inground pool and hottub, this is a swimming, sunbathing haven for the enthusiasts. The surrounding area offers everything from antique hunting to dining in the shops and Restaurants of Thornbury, 1.5 kilometrs away, very walkable on the Georgian trail, (an Old railway Line now coverted for walking, mountain biking, and running), the trail winds its way for 32 kilometers joining our town to the towns of Meaford, Craigleith and Collingwood, this is an excellant way to see our area.
The population of the town of Thornbury ( now called the Town of the Blue Mountains) is around 3000 people. We have a Food Store, Liquor store, convenience stores, an old fashion Bakery, a medical clinic, antique stores , a harbour for sail and power boats and 10 restaurants 

The Pool itself is a 16 X 32 foot inground heated pool, we keep the pool set to 82 degrees F. (which is your decision to keep on or off). The shallow end is 3 feet while the deep end is 8 feet. Our Hottub is located steps from the pool and is kept between 100 and 105 degrees. The pool and hottub areas are completly fenced. The 500 square foot deck overlooks the pool and hottub , so it is very easy for parents to watch their party while enjoying the view of the forest and feeling warm breezes off the Bay or cooking their meals on the professional Vermont Castings Gas B.B.Q with side element. *****THE POOL IS IN OPERATION FROM MAY 1ST TO SEPTEMBER 30TH****** HOTTUB YEAR ROUND***** 

The kitchen area is large enough to have 3 chefs with ample room, all the areas on this upper level are set up for family entertaining.
The kitchen has a 4 person breakfast bar for fast meals, we have a gas stainless steel/ cas t iron stove top / gas oven for precise temperture cooking, a stainless steel side by side, water and ice dispencing refridgerater, stainless steel dishwasher, 4 slice toaster, drip coffee maker, expresso machine, all utencils for a family including pots, pans, earth ware baking dishes, pyrex baking dishes,crock pot, juicer, blender, Henckels knifeware. Plates, glass ware, wine glasses, coffee mugs, and even a T.V. so that the chefs dont miss anything

The Livingroom contains leather couches , 50 inch large screen T.V.,D.V.D and V.H.S. tape player, open concept living room/ dining room / kitchen. The 6.5 foot wooden harvest table expands to 9.0 feet for larger families.
Memories will be made while the dinners are being prepared with the kids laughing in the pool, chef s preparing steaks, shrimp and vegatables on the B.B.Q, with the doors to the dining room are open , warm breezes from the bay , sunlight diminishing, tables being set on the deck and in the home, salads being prepared in the kitchen wine being poured for dinner....it is a great family home. We only rent to families at this location.

The cottage comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 4 double and 3 cots. . This gives room for up to 12 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The cottage has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the cottage cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm. The cottage has a sauna.

The cottage has television and home cinema with video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The cottage is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a north facing garden, a west facing patio area, a west facing balcony, a barbeque.

The cottage is right beside a beach, swimming, sailing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, mountain biking, tennis, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the cottage you will find horse riding, skiing/snowboarding, golf.

Within easy reach of the cottage you will find climbing, flying.
