Terrace Downs golf club and resort is sited beside the Rakaia Gorge and in the lee of the towering Mt Hutt mountain range. Nestled at the base of Mt Hutt in the Canterbury foothills, an hour out of Christchurch and the heart of New Zealands South Island high country. Terrace Downs Villas offer the best accommodation available at the resort with every Villa offering commanding views of the course and mountains beyond. With clean fresh air and numerous outdoor activities your stay at Terrace Downs will never be long enough! 

A selection of premium front row Terrace Villas are available for rental to our guests. Both two and three bedroom Villas are available. Each Villa has been designed to complement the high country landscape. Each offering an open plan lounge and dining area, gas fire, fully equipped kitchen and private balcony/patio to enjoy the incomparable views across the beautifully manicured golf course and up to the Southern Alps.

Each Villa includes luxurious California king-split beds, feather bedding and a raised double spa bath in the main en-suite bathroom. Large screen TV, DVD player, digital television, CD stereo system, internet connectivity, undercover car parking/garage, full kitchen (including dish washer) and laundry facilities. The Resort offers a drying room for ski gear during the winter. This is located close to each Villa.

An 18 hole championship golf course lies at the heart of Terrace Downs High Country Resort. This internationally rated golf course is among the top 5 in New Zealand. Terrace Downs Golf Course offers four tee positions allowing golfers of all abilities to enjoy the high country experience! Guests can book a tee-off time upon arrival. Carts and club hire is available.

Please be warned however, concentrating on your golf in this beautiful high country location can often be a bigger challenge than meeting par!

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 2 double and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Lounge sofa bed. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool.

The apartment has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
