Antigua

Antigua has 365 beaches, one for each day of the year, all of which are open to the public all year round.

The unspoilt island of Barbuda can be visited via Barbuda Express Ferry for a day visit or there are sailing trips available if you want to stay a couple of days.

If you really want to capture the fantastic scenery in Antigua then a helicopter tour around the island is the way to do it. It is run by Caribbean Helicopters Ltd, and they offer both full and half island tours with opportunities to take amazing photos to document the tour. There are many places of interest to visit in Antigua including
Nelsons Dockyard, English Harbour and Shirley Heights on a Sunday afternoon were there is a BBQ and Live local music.

St Johns Is about 15 minutes drive from Jolly Harbour and has a great duty free shopping area.

If your idea of a perfect holiday is lazing the day away on the beach then take visit to the beach located a couple minutes walk away from the villa. However for the more active holidaymaker there are many on site activities to undertake. These include:

There is lots of choice when deciding where to eat out, from snacks and burgers to fine cuisine. Notable eateries include Castaways restaurant located directly on the beach, Peters Steakhouse and Italian Mellini’s is situated in the centre of the resort.


 

2 Bedroom Luxury waterfront Villa located in on the North Finger of Jolly Harbour Marina and Golf Beach Resort. There is a regular shuttle service to take you around the complex or golf carts can be rented. The resort also has 24 hours gated security.

The Villa is fully air conditioned and has a security alarm system installed. There is a telephone that can receive incoming calls and outgoing calls can be made using a telephone card. The property is laid out over two stories.

Upstairs are 2 double bedrooms, one with a double bed and small balcony and the other with twin beds. Both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms.

Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen, WC, breakfast area and lounge. The lounge has a double sofa bed, the living area leads you onto the part covered patio terrace with table and chairs and sun loungers overlooking the waterfront and landscape. There is a laundry service available on-site for day to day washing.

Our Villa has a management team who are situated within the Jolly Harbour Resort who you will be able contact for any queries and support during the stay.

The villa comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Living room. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a north facing patio area, a north facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a tennis court. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, mountain biking, golf, tennis, a sports center.

Close to the villa you will find horse riding.

(1) Cushions for the patio deck Chairs, (2) Optional Welcome Food package , provide list to be selec ted from , with appropiate prices. (3) Include rental of golf cart option , if selec ted to be left at villa for arrival. (4) Gap under front door needs to be blocked , easy entrance for the cockroches."

Thank you for your comments. I will get some-one to take a look at the front door. I was planning on getting some patio cushions on my next visit out there along with fold up sun loungers to take down to the beach.
