Chateau Gloria is 7 bedroom luxury villa, located in the famous Ironshore Estate in Montego Bay. Only 10 minutes away from the airport. It is a expectacular villa with its own pool, a modern kitchen, large living/dining area with big screen tv. The villa was designed by a Swiss architect. All rooms are nicely decorated and have tv, telephone, safe, a/c, private bathroom. From the living area you walk through the french doors to the pooldeck. From the pooldeck you have a wunderful view of the carribbean ocean. Chateau Gloria is the perfect place for funloving singles, family reunions, business people, honey mooners etc.
Vacationing at Chateau Gloria is wunderful experience. The beautiful villa is the perfect place to enjoy the real Jamaica. Our staff: manager, chef , maid, security will make sure you will have an unforgettable stay. Our jamaican chef will prepare delicious jamaican meals.

The villa is in a quiet neighbourhood, there are many nearby activities such as horse back ridding, snorkeling, luxury shopping, golf, tennis, beaches and much more.

 

 

 

The villa comprises 9 bedrooms in total; 7 double, 2 single. . This gives room for up to 16 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 7 bathrooms and 7 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television and home cinema with dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, vinyl records, cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 7 in the living room and 14 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, panoramic views. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Review submitted by non-Villarenters customer: July 2, 2008 To Whom It May Concern: Subject: Chateau Gloria, Iron Shore, Jamaica Week of 6/19-6/26 2008 I am writing this letter to express my extreme disappointment in the Chateau Gloria Villa located in Iron shore, Jamaica. What was supposed to be a dream vacation with close friends turned into somewhat of a nightmare. This was my third trip to Jamaica and the worst ever! My friend and I arrived late on the evening of June 19 and the trouble had already started….the very first night we arrived to no water! We had been traveling since 7:00am that morning and was really ready to settle in and take a nice hot shower and begin our vacation, unfortunately Chateau Gloria had other plans…we didn’t even have a tinkle of water to shower or even brush our teeth to prepare for bed. Later we witnessed a water truck pull up and supposedly bring water, this processed lasted for a couple of hours. The next morning, June 20th we awakened to no water again! We had to wait several hours to shower and when the water did come on it was just a small amount which caused thirteen women running to get a dro p of water. This was not a good situation! Throughout the same day, we begin having trouble with the electric, it went off and the food which we had purchased was in danger of spoiling, plenty of food was destroyed and eventually thrown away because of the problem with the inconsistency with the electric. I am not going to go day by day, but I can tell you that the pattern described above continued on throughout the seven day period. We had to take water from the pool to flush the toilet, use bottle water to brush our teeth there was trouble with the air conditioning in our room, it seemed as if it would be turned off or just plain go out in the middle of the night. This whole ordeal made the tempers among the women rise on a daily basis, we were all disappointed and begged for the problems to be solved with Gloria and the a gentleman by the name of “Street” which we found out later were the owners of the property and they were there the entire time. My friend and I had reached our limit, we were so miserable that we had to find another place to stay with running water and electric! We ended up paying an additional $1000.00 US to the Breezes Resort to make the remainder of our vacation somewhat salvageable! Please keep in mind that we could not afford to pay this additional amount after we had already shelled out $600 a piece for the Chateau!!!! Lastly, I must say that something needs to be done about this situation, there needs to be some sort of restitution on the part of Gloria’s Château, or the travel agent who made the arrangements. This is not good business and I can assure you that this will not be held in confidence until something is done. I’m sure you know that an unhappy customer can ruin any business!
