Palmview Villa is ideally situated in River Doree, a pretty countryside area, with very easy access to the road, being 15 minutes from Hewannora International Airport and the other way just 20 minutes to the famous World Heritage Site of the Pitons. This beautiful modern villa lies in its own lush tropical garden where the swimming pool and sun deck take centre stage. Enjoy the views of coconut trees as far as the eye can see and the lush tropical vegetation.
River Doree is in the area of Choiseul, a typical Caribbean fishing village, where there are shops, church and of course Rum Shops. Take part in the monthly 'fish fry ' on the last Friday of the month. The accommodation consists of 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin room, 2 shower rooms, and a very spacious open plan living / dining area. There are french doors that open directly on to a terracotta tiled terrace, over looking the lovely view of the pool and deck area. 2 of the bedrooms also benefit from having direct access to the terrace.

Enjoy the poolside entertaining, where you can eat your meals, BBQ or just take drinks on the qualtiy exterior furnishing. Visit the beautiful beaches and country estates, of the South. Take the opportiunity to try wind surfing, kite boarding, diving. The best hotel in the world 2005 is only 15 minutes drive away. You will find restaurants, bars and shops in View Fort and Soufriere, both easily accessible.

Anne says: "Stayed here for 2 weeks in July 07. The apartment is on the ground floor and its owners, Kathryn & Hilroy, live upstairs. It is large, light, well-equipped and comfortable. There are several options for eating outside, with the most convenient being a table on the terrace immediately outside the living room. The pool is a good size, kept very clean and with good quality pool furniture around it. Kathryn & Hilroy were very thoughtful & helpful, encouraging us to access our email in their apartment as necessary, doing washing, full of recommendations for restaurants, beaches etc. The apartment is located in the laid-back south of the island (our preference), just about halfway between Vieux Fort and Soufriere giving access to a good range of restaurants and beaches by car, which is a necessity. An extremely pleasant vacation for those that want to be independent but value a bit of on-site advice & know-how from time to time."
