Highlands Reserve is an exclusive community just off Highway 27, approx. 1.5 miles south from US192, which is the Irlo Bronson Expressway going through the centre of Kissimee.

It adjoins a protected conservation area, set in countryside surrounded by orange groves & pine trees. Within the immediate vicinity of Highlands Reserve are a Publix supermarket, takeaway, hairdressers & other shops. These can be reached without having to venturing onto the highway.

1st National Bank of Polk County and a newly opened Walmart are a short drive up the 27. Travelling south on the 27 takes you to the closest junction for the Interstate 4. 

The community area is off the main highway, on the edge of a nature reserve, among old citrus groves, oak trees & pines. It contains many safe routes for jogging, cycling or walking.

In the middle of the community is the Highlands Reserve golf course. The scenic course encompasses 120 ft of elevation change over long undulating greens passing through a combination of pine tree lined fairways & open panoramas. It is a PGA Championship 18 hole (par 72) course suitable for players of varying ability.

The Club House features a pro shop, and serves snacks & drinks. There is also a large communal pool as well as a children's play area & tennis courts. 

The world-famous theme parks of Disney World, Sea World & Universal Studios are a short drive away. Kissimmee's restaurants, & attractions like Old Town & Celebration are even closer. Orlando's Outlet Centres & Shopping Malls are within easy reach. Florida's Gulf coast beaches & Cape Canaveral are 1 hour's drive away.

The villa is fully air-conditioned. All bedrooms have ceiling fans & tvs. The heated 30ft swimming pool is enclosed within a pool screen. It has a child-protection fence as well as alarms on sliding doors leading onto the pool area. There is a poolside table & chairs as well as 4 loungers. An electronic coded key box by the front door avoids delays in gaining access to the villa. Free phone calls across USA & Canada. High-speed wireless internet.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 2 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 10 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Lee says: " We have stayed in many villas in Highlands Reserve, and I must say this was one of the best. The villa was nice and clean and well equipped for all our needs. The only down side was that the pool area was a bit dirty and we had to clean it up ourselves. We did not see a pool cleaner while we were there or anyone from the management. However It was a very nice villa with great location and we would love to stay again next time we travel."
