Emerald Island is a gated community with 2 outdoor heated pools both with their own spar, next to the main pool is a Tiki hut selling snacks and drinks. There is a sand volleyball court and a childrens play area next to the Clubhouse where you'll find a gym, sauna, arcade, a meeting room, cyber cafe and the reception where you'll be helped with dinner reservations, attraction tickets or transportation. There is a nature trail for walking, jogging or biking which has picnic tables scattered around and there is a soon to be tennis court in the works. It really is a lovely Resort with a perfect location in a magical place.  

 

 

The accomodation is on 2 floors the 3 bedrooms and both bathrooms are on the top floor. The en-suite Master Bedroom has cable TV and video, dressing table, a large walk-in wardrobe and has patio doors which lead out to the balcony over looking the heated pool and spar. The second bedroom is also a double and the third bedroom has a double bed with a single bunk above and an extra foldaway bed if needed, both of these bedrooms also have large wardrobes. Downstairs there is a seperate Toilet with wash basin and a laundry room. In the Lounge theres cable TV, a DVD player and a playstation 2 and also if needed one of the sofas pulls out to make a further bed. The patio doors lead out to the porch and pool area. The accomodation is furnished to a high quality with everything you would need to make your stay perfect.

The house comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 3 double, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The house has 2 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the house cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The house has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

This is a non-smoking house

The house is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a patio area, a balcony. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The house is right beside swimming, walking, cycling.

Close to the house you will find sailing, water skiing, boat hire, fishing, flying, horse riding, golf, a sports center, a zoo, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a themepark, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the house you will find a museum.

Disney is 5 minutes away Sea World 10 minutes and Universal and Wet and Wild only 15 minutes.

Only one drawback and that was the inconsiderate, white american students who used the pool at night on three occasions 4.30am really is a very antisocial time to make so much noise. i will be contacting the managing director of Emerald Island to voice my opinions.
