The Bodega
A country stone finca in rural spain set in an olive grove. The former bodega (wine store) has been converted to a 2 bedroomed self-contained house, surrounded by vineyards, olives and almond orchards. The finca is ideal for a walking, cycling or relaxing holiday. It is 5 minutes drive into a small market town with all facilities, bars, restaurants, shops, etc.
Accommodation
The finca comprises a lounge with french doors to a private patio, kitchen, bathroom and two double bedrooms , one with fitted wardrobes. The house is on one level, self-contained and attached to the owners house, sharing a large swimming pool. The accommodation is suitable for families or couples, pets are welcome.
Activities
The area is ideally suited for walking, birdwatching, cycling or just relaxing by the pool.
A car would be essential to explore the area.
In March the fields are blooming with almond blossom.
There are local fiestas in most months throughout the year including Jumilla wine fiesta iand Pinoso fiesta in August.
Although situated in rural Spain, it is only 35 minutes to the beach.

pauline says: "have just returned from the most relaxing holiday at the bodega. the owners alan and brenda are the most welcomig hosts and have an extensive knowledge of the local area.The bodega is in a peaceful location on the outskirts of encebras village but is also close enough to main routes if you want to explore futher afield.Alan and brenda recomended several fantastic restaurants which we enjoyed fully.
