Our brand new villa sits on the La Torre Golf and Country resort of Polaris World. The villa has 1 double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms and 2 full shower rooms. There is a fully fitted, well equipped kitchen with an adjoining utility room with washing machine. The open plan living and dining room and 3 bedrooms are air conditioned for your comfort in the summer, with central heating throughout for the milder months. From the living room, patio doors lead to a terrace and private garden which is ideal for dinning al fresco and BBQ’s. There is also a large roof terrace, which is a great spot for breakfast and private sun bathing. For your peace of mind the resort is completely walled, with visitors being checked in and out at the main gate. The resort has 12 beautiful communal swimming pools with tennis courts and play areas for young children. 

Polaris World La Torre 18 hole golf course is in excellent condition and kept to a very high standard. It offers a great game of golf for all members of the family from beginners to the more advanced golfer. The 18 hole golf course is 5350m in total and is a Par 68 with three lakes and bunkers. The golf course is part of the Nicklaus Golf Trail. The first class golf facilities at Polaris World La Torre Golf Resort include the driving range and club house. Golf carts and clubs can be hired and a refreshment buggie will meet you during your game of golf.
Situated in La Torre town centre (just 15 minutes walk from the villa) is a variety of bars and restaurants and an ice cream parlour. There is a well stocked supermarket on site which bakes fresh bread daily. Bike hire is also available on site.

There’s a fantastic clubhouse with an excellent restaurant and 2 bars with calming vistas across the Jack Niclaus sculpted fairways and well manicured greens. Rental golf equipment is available if required. The Wood House bar is ideal for a snack and drink after a game of golf with seating inside and terraced area outside with stunning views across the golf course and La Torre resort. All this in a region of Spain with the greatest number of sunny days, being reliably hot in summer and mild in the winter which is ideal for golfers. There are 250 km of coast to explore along the Mediterranean with wonderful beaches such as those of La Manga, Mazarrón and Calblanque. but the best beaches are to be found in Mar Menor Lagoon,they have sandy beaches and a warm, calm sea, which is ideal for children. Inland there are high mountain peaks and natural parks ideal for mountain bikers and horse treking .

 

The city of Murcia is only 20 mins drive. It is steeped in history, punctuated by elegant buildings and churches with a magnificent baroque cathedral. It is also an ideal shopping location. Cartagena, a historic Roman city is about 30 minutes away. There are many local towns and villages nearby including the old and new coastal town of Los Alcazares with an abundance of very nice restaurants and is only 20 mins from La Torre. There is a large shopping mall called Dos Mares near San Pedro. 

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the In Lounge. This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, a balcony, panoramic views, a barbeque, a tennis court. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking, golf, tennis, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find historic sites, a museum.

jayne says: "the property was great had everything for a very comfortable stay in a quiet location. Although there was a short walk to the swimming pools on the polaris world complex this was a little inconvenient for older members of the party particularly as you would have to take your own deckchair or lounger to fully enjoy these facilities. The polaris world complex also had limited facilities for dining/bars and a car was essential as it was in quite a remote area. Maybe in the future this will improve as I believe this resort is quite new. Also it would be a good idea to provide an information booklet/guide about the tourist areas which can be visited particularly for those unaquainted with the area ."
