Recently renovated and re-furbished to include new bathroom, kitchen with dishwasher and reverse air-conditioning make this apartment very comfortable.

There are two balconies, meaning you can choose sun or shade all day - off the bedroom, chairs and coffee table - ideal for a bit of shade and reading in the afternoon, the balcony off the lounge has table and chairs for dining, I recommend the sunsetting over the Mar Menor whilst having fish caught just besides the apartment.

Situated just above the safe sandy beach a moonlight bar-b-q is well worth the effort!

The kitchen is very well equipped with full hob and cooker, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, plenty of dishes, glasses and cooking utensils and a table and chairs for 4 that extends if you really want to entertain.

The lounge has large sofa and comfy rocking chair, TV with some satalite - you won't miss corrie here. CD player and a few discs and videos.

Linen and apartment towels are provided.

This is a very spanish holiday area, families have been re-uniting here for more than 20 years during July and August, they have plenty of impromptu parties on the pathways and squares which you will be welcomed to, but, if this is too much for you there are some beautiful, quiet and romantic restuarants with breathtaking views and the sea all but lapping at your toes to escape to and on to a nightclub if you like, these are either small and intimate or huge and outdoor.

During the rest of the year people of all nationalities are here, again some have been coming here for decades and have retired here and their families now come for holidays. Don't be mislead, it is not a retirement area, during the winter months there is plenty to do, you do need to ask where to go during these months.

Restuarants, bars and shops are open all year round. It rarely rains, the Costa Calida has 320 days of sunshine a year and Christmas lunch can be eaten outside though it does get colder in the evenings.  

Is a strip of sand spprox. 22kms long which forms a barrier and encloses the Mar Menor - Little Sea- and separates it from the Mar Mayor- Big Sea - or Mediterranean. At its narrowest it is only 100 metres wide. At the 2 extremes of the strip there are protected natural areas, Las Salinas, here you can see the pink pelicans.

The Mar Menor is a paradise for water sports, major events are held throughout the year and the kite surfing is spectacular to watch even if you don't do it yourself. There are schools for every type of water sport and equipment can be hired locally. Some of the best scuba diving in the world can be done locally.

If you do fancy a change from water the famous La Manga Club is minutes away with its 3 x 18 hole golf courses, 28 tennis courts, Spa, Bowling, first class restaurants, casino, football training etc.

Horseriding, go-carting are only a few minutes away.

La Manga has a very good bus service if you prefer not to drive, visit Cartagena, the oldest sea port in the world, roman digs, museums, beautiful buildings still showing bullet scars from the Civil War. Shops and the New Marina area are worth a visit and the nearest McDonalds! Cartagena has the biggest local festival at the beginning of September a whole week of battles, and amazing site to see the Romans landing their boats and fighting off the Cartagenians, thousands dress up, even the babies and fight through the streets with a huge themed eatting park and fair. Don't worry if you miss this one, there are always fiestas in this area. 

Arrival can be any day and an airport pick-up can be arranged if you prefer not to drive. Take advantage of the cheap regional flights and try a weekend, I am sure you will want to return.

The apartment comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 double and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The apartment has television video, dvd. The music system will play cds.

There is room for 5 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this apartment.

The apartment is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a balcony, sea views, panoramic views.

The apartment is right beside a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the apartment you will find climbing, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, tennis, a sports center, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum.
