Entering through the front door there is a lobby area which has a door to the wc directly ahead which is mainly used for when in the pool. To the right are double doors leading to the main living room.
The living room, dining room and kitchen are open plan with two sets of patio doors opening onto the pool area and outside sitting and dining table.
In the living area there are two settees which will comfortably seat 6 people set around a fireplace. There is also Sky sattelite television allowing you to watch all BBC and ITV channels and many others. A playstation consol with a number of games is present to help keep the children happy along with a few board games and a number of books for the adults. Music is available with a cd/cassette/radio but it is necessary to bring cds.
The dining area has a large heavy wooden dining table and has eight chairs with plenty of space.
The vaulted kitchen is fully fitted and equipped including washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven, touch control ceramic hob and large fridge-freezer. Included is plastic ware for use around the swimming pool.
The master bedroom includes a large en-suite bathroom with bath, seperate shower and twin marble sinks. There is also patio doors accessing the swimming pool area along with extensive fitted wardrobes. Containing a double bed, chair and table this room retains a spacious feel due to its large size.
The second bedroom is also a double and again is en-suite with a large fitted wardrobe which contains the iron and ironing board.
The third bedroom is a twin single are is spacious with fitted wardrobes and once again is en-suite.
 

The external area at Santa Maria is fully enclosed making the property child friendly and is mainly laid to grass with a number of colourful plant beds. These beds are planted with low growing plants so as not to take away from the amazing panoramic views of Lake Vinuela, Mount Maroma, Periana, Alcaucin and Canillias. To give scope to the views the beautiful towns of Periana and Canillias are around fifty kilometres apart.
The 10 metre by 5 metre swimming pool is placed to the front of the property so as not to be overlooked giving total privacy and has two dolphin designs on the bottom. The pool is fully automatic and is cleaned weekly.
The patio has both sunbathing and covered areas for your comfort and comes equipped with sunbeds, a dining table with six seats and a smaller table with two seats. There is also a charcoal barbeque.
There is a large car parking and turning area which has large double gates. The garage is located at the rear of the villa and contains many pool floats and other toys. Under the garage is a large water deposit which ensures that there is always water available unless under extended shortage circumstances.
 

Santa Maria is within fifteen minutes of all amenities including a number of restaurants, bars, supermarket, butcher, baker, bank and retail shops.
Lake Vinuela is ten minutes from the villa and has a path that encircles it offering beautifully scenic walking.
Alcaucin is fifteen minutes drive away and as well as the traditional town itself has a National Park that delivers unspoilt landscapes and panoramic views back towards the lake, and, once further up, views of the Granada countryside which is much more agricultural.
Torre del Mar is the nearest beach town and is 20 minutes from the villa and has a lovely promenade which stretches all the way to the next town. There are restaurants on the beach itself which prepare freshly caught fish dishes which are well worth the visit alone. There is also a tram here which will take you into Velez-Malaga which has much traditional charm. Torre del Mar has a large shopping centre called Eroski which houses a supermarket, clothes shops, ten pin bowling, cinema and an inside restaurant street with eight different establishments.
Nerja is a popular town 35 minutes away and has the Nerja Caves amoung a number of attractions which also include the Balcon de Europe.
Further afield, but very popular with guests is the Alhambra Palace. Roughly 90 minutes drive away the Alhambra is busy during the holiday season and we recommend that if you wish to enjoy a visit during the day or one of their night shows to book before leaving home.
To obtain the amazing views that Santa Maria delivers the property is situated ten minutes from the main road making a car essentail. The track to the villa is bumpy and while a 4x4 would be advantagous, is by no means essential. 

The property also contains a playstation with a number of games, boardgames and a few books. 1 cot is on site but another can be provided if required although neither cot comes with linen.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 3 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Living room. This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, fishing, horse riding, tennis, a sports center, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, golf, a zoo.

Aqua-Velez Waterpark is 15 mins away.
