There are many golf courses to choose from in the costa del sol area, The nearest being Mijas golf course, Santana golf course and the famous La Cala Golf resort Costa del sol. Just a short drive away from La Cala Hills (about 30 mins) is Peurto Banus, Is the place to go for spotting the rich and famous, Here you can view some of the biggest and brightest Boats on the costa del sol all for the rich and famous, Sit at one of the may bars and restaurants and watch all of the Expensive Sport cars go by or brave the many designer shops along costa del sols No:1 Port.
Every other weekend in La Cala is the Hippodrome the place to go for Horse racing, In the summer they also have Concerts here with may appearances from stars such as Elton John and Robbie Williams, Well worth a trip if you fancy a late night out. If you like horse riding their is also a riding centre very close by ( a couple of minutes away)which is run by a couple of english speaking ladies.
