We built this house 4 years ago, and is of a modern but rustic Spanish style built over 2 floors We have a winter terrace which catches the sun all day long, and overlooks the pool area. We also have a summer terrace which is north facing and provides shade in the afternoon to escape the heat of the day. The pool area has a large sunbathing area surrounding it, with the BBQ at one end. This area is very private and can not be looked over by any other properties, as they are across the valley and far away. We have spectacular views towards the village of Guaro in one direction, and towards Malaga and the Sierra Nevada in the other direction 

The land where the house has been built, is literally 1 kilometer outside the picturesque village of Guaro, which holds one of Andalucias biggest festivals every year in September called "Luna Mora" and this year will be held on the weekends of the 11th and 12th and then again on 18th and 19th September 2009 As there is so much traffic during this weekend, we are lucky that we can easily walk into the village from the villa to witness this spectacular event. The views form the land are breath taking, and there are miles of mountains to walk and discover, or a short drive takes you to all the resorts failities of the Costa Del Sol 

We are in one of the most beautiful parts of Spain, with historic dams and hydro electric power systems which were built before and during world war 2. The film "Von Ryans Express" starring Frank Sinatra was filmed just up the road, and the BBC television set for Eldorado is still located just outside Coin and is now a hotel complex. We are in easy reach of Gibraltar and the ferry boats to Morrocco and Cauta leading into North Africa. This whole area is stooped in history and we have a valley known as Barranco Blanco where the famous Timote TV ad was shot, and this area was also home to escaping Nazzis after the end of the war, protected by General Franco. 

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 3 double, 1 twin, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the in the smaller bedroom, 1 double sofa bed located in the in the smaller bedroom, 1 double bunk bed located in the In an adjoining chalet. This gives room for up to 10 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, vinyl records, cds. Recreational activities available with the villa include a snooker/pool table.

There is room for 10 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

This is a non-smoking villa

Dogs are normally kept outside the house, but there is plenty of room for them to run around, as we have nearly 3 acres of land.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a north facing balcony, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking, cycling, mountain biking.

Close to the villa you will find fishing, horse riding, golf, tennis, a sports center, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find a beach, water skiing, climbing, scuba diving, historic sites, a zoo, a theatre/cinema, a themepark.

Selwo safari park, the beautiful lakes only 45 minutes away & many beaches 25 to 40 minutes

When It came to a Villa Holiday in Andalucía, this Summer, I had no difficulties in deciding and David’s Villa was the first choice. When we communicated with David before we arrived, he more than ticked the boxes. David’s warmth and readiness to assist in countless ways including vehicle hire , receiving guests at airport , tour guide, assisting with settling in , shopping etc has made Holiday guests hosting a fine art .

The Villa location, with panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys is a breath taking sight to see and enjoy, and the swimming pool has the “wow” factor for long hours of fun in the water for young and old.

The Location has easy access to the seaside resorts of Malaga and Marbella and the heart of Andalucía and also for those interested in Moorish History and culture.
The Villa has all amenities comfortable rooms, which are welcoming, and a cool breeze blows across the open Balcony which takes the heat off the midday sun.

The local Village of Guaro is well worth a visit, and is of classic Moorish architecture with narrow streets and tidy quaint houses..

David is always on call and attentive to clients needs and will go out of his way to ensure guest satisfaction, and this makes the difference between just another Holiday and a memorable one!.

No doubt we will return to savour the Salubrious Villa and David’s Hospitality.
