Villa Valentin, located in La Cativera Ubanization, is situated in a peaceful and more private area that offers opportunities for excursions by foot, bicycle, or car. Located just 2 Km uphill from the village of El Catllar, where basic shopping and medical attention are available and 2 Km downhill from the Gaia resevoir. Considering the community is in a secluded area, it is still close enough to Tarragona, Reus, Cambrills, and Salou to allow for some quick and fun excursions for the day or evening. This includes Port Aventura Theme Park that is located less than 30 minutes away. A car is a must!! 

This 10 year old two story house has been modified for two seperate living areas and is located on a tri-level property. The upstairs/street level living quarters accommodate the owners when in residence. The downstairs/second level includes a large covered porch overlooking the pool area. The spacious living quarters downstairs accommodate 8 people comfortably. This includes a living/dining area with fireplace, a kitchen, one spacious bathroom, and 2 bedrooms with double beds and 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds.  

For those interested in history, there are Roman ruins, castles, Romanesque churches, museums, medieval villages and the famous "Ruta del Cister", the three Cistercian monasteries of Santes Creus, Poblet and Vallbona de les Monges, that are located less than 30 minutes away. The Baix Penedes and Priorat regions are famous for their varied wines and cava.  

Urban Situation-Calm and Private. This two-story villa, located on a tri-level property includes complete and separate living quarters on the second level with swimming pool (shared only with owners), covered porch, and lawn furniture. A barbecue and garden are located at the lower level. The owners live at the upper/street level when in residence. Parking in front of chalet on wide street.

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin. . This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use.

The villa has television dvd.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Everyone in the estate has pets too, so as long as they can get along...

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking, cycling, mountain biking.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, horse riding, golf, tennis, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum, a zoo, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find climbing, a sports center, a themepark.

Jan says: "The new owners were extremely friendly, helpful and could be approached for advice or assistance at any time. Bonnie gave us some excellant suggestions on where to visit - thanks for your help Bonnie! This is a residential area and this is what attracted us to the property. It is ideal as a base to explore the surrounding area and with a fabulous beach only 10 mins drive away. There are a number of guard dogs who live in the neighbouring property and at times the barking, in the evening can be quite loud. However, we are dog lovers and did not find this to be an issue or a problem. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would return to this villa again, without hesitation"
