Enjoy luxury self-catering accommodation in these beautifully restored 18th Century lakeside lodges. Set in a 38 acre private landscaped estate with Riverside walk, a Victorian cottage garden and orchard to explore. Lake boating and fishing are available on site and complete this idyllic retreat. 

Each self-catering lodge sleeps 5 people and enjoys an excellent location from which to tour the dramatic west coast of Ireland and visit attractions such as Bunratty Castle, Cragganowen, Ennis, Limerick and the Burren. 

Mount Cashel Lodges were recently renovated from the original coach house on the Mount Cashel estate which was built initially in 1850. The lodges are self-catering and have been inspected and awarded a 4 Star rating by Failte Ireland, Ireland's Tourist Board. Both lodges are similar in layout, refurbishment and accommodation.The lodge is approached via a private courtyard.

The cottage comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 5 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The cottage has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The cottage has television satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 5 in the living room and 5 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The cottage is in a very quiet area. It has a garden, a patio area (with heater), panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The cottage is right beside swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, fishing, walking.

Close to the cottage you will find cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, tennis, historic sites, a museum, shopping areas, a themepark, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the cottage you will find a beach, a theatre/cinema.

Ann-Marie says: "The property was in an excellent location and we were able to make use of the lake and the facilities. The lodge had everything that we needed and some basics such as milk and bread were provided for us on arrival. The owners were friendly and there were some even more friendly 4 legged hosts! We would definately look to booking the lodge again if we returned for a holiday in ireland and would recommend it to our friends and family. Very good value for money."
