You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

" just returned from a break at Barn Owl Cottage with my wife and I must stay that we enjoyed it emensley.
The cottage is set in the grounds of Oakdale Farmhouse and it contains everything that one might need for a self catering break.
It was ideal for us as we did not want to rent a house as that can be pricey and the cottage with its 1 bedroom en suite and fully fitted kitchen(with washing machine and tumble dryer) and even free WI-Fi Internet access, what more could you ask for!
We used it as a base for touring all over the county and even ventured as far as the Giants Causeway in Co.Antrim.
All in all I would recommend Barn Owl Cottage for independent and budget conscious travelers who need a comfortable base for sight seeing. "paulr York, UK.

"We spent a week here and it was just wonderful! Quiet yet close to the pubs and restaurants in Glenties. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Teresa was also very accommodating and available when needed. I would highly recommend to anyone interested in some time in Donegal and wanting the option of touring around the County yet also wanting the option of some quiet time.
