Welcome to ‘Villa Naranja’, a private home situated on a corner plot in an elevated position overlooking Argaka Bay and the Mediterranean Sea. Argaka is a very tranquil location situated just outside the traditional yet vibrant town of Polis just 20km North of Paphos.

The impressive 3 bedroom, 3 Bathroom detached Cyprus Holiday Villa has been designed, furnished and landscaped to the highest standards and offers a real taste of traditional Cypriot village life. Enjoy relaxing on a sun lounger by the private pool, alfresco dining on the terrace and your favourite aperitif on one of the 2 balconies as the sun sets over the clear blue waters.

After leaving the coast road, the villa is accessed by a beautiful winding country road with lovely views all the way. Only 1km away is a Beach Bar/Cafe and 2 traditional Tavernas as well as the beach itself which forms part of a beautiful stretch of coastline going all the way to Latchi and the Akamas Nature Reserve in one direction and ‘Pomos’ (the last village in the South) in the other. There is even an Irish Bar 3km away which overlooks the Sea from its verandah.
 

On entering the villa itself, you immediately sense the thought and care that has gone in to make the villa a true home from home. Access at Ground Floor level leads on to the Lounge with large comfortable sofas (1 is a sofa bed), TV with Satellite and a stereo system to create an uplifting atmosphere at any time of day. The adjacent dining area is equipped with a smart and modern glass topped dining table and 6 chairs. This leads on to the fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. The kitchen also has a table and chairs to seat 4. Making up the ground floor is a large double bedroom. The twin beds can be pushed together or separated as desired. An adjacent bathroom enables the area to be self contained for those guests who do not wish to use the stairs.

Upstairs is the Master Bedroom with Balcony affording wonderful views and en-suite shower room with double sized cubicle. The third bedroom is a twin and also has access to the balcony, as well as a bathroom with bath and shower.

The villa is fully air-conditioned, has fly screens fitted throughout and shutters to the bedrooms. The water is heated by solar panels on the roof.

DETAILS OF THE EXTERIOR

Outside, the villa has a nicely landscaped garden featuring orange trees (hence the villas name), and other exotic plants as well as a 8m x 4m private pool with ample room for sunloungers (6 supplied). Outside the lounge is a shaded terrace with table and chairs and a Gas BBQ. The views from this area are quite spectacular, making it the ideal place for relaxing in the shade, taking in the views, alfresco dining and socialising with your party.
 

The villa is situated just outside Argaka, a beautiful and somewhat unspoilt Cypriot Village sandwiched between the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea and some spectacular mountains filled with pine trees. Argaka is home to a good number of traditional Cypriot restaurants, a beach bar and an Irish Bar. Travel a little way and you reach the bigger village of Polis. There is plenty of activity to choose from, whether you wish to dine in one of the many restaurants, hire mountain bikes, quad bikes or even a boat!

The nearby Latchi beach is renowned as one of the best on this side of the island and not as crowded as the beaches in and around Paphos itself (which can be reached by car in 30 minutes or under). Latchi beach is famous for its clear blue sea, soft white sand and a great selection of watersports which are readily available. Take one of the boat rides to the ‘blue lagoon’, have a swim and/or snorkel, then come back to the pretty harbour/fishing port and have the famous ‘Fish Meze’ where you will be served approx 20 dishes including some of the freshest catches of the day whilst watching the world go by.

For the more adventurous, you can enter the ‘Akamas’ Nature reserve and go all the way round to ‘Lara Beach’ famous for its turtles and wonderful beach. If it is unspoilt Cyprus you are looking for, this is a great area to visit. You may even venture into the nearby villages of Lysos and Miliou or further on to Kathikas (with its vineyards and wineries), Droushia and Panagia. Other fantastic scenery can be taken in at Cedar Valley and the Troodos mountain range where in Winter, you can even Ski!

Paphos airport is 1 hour away by very good quality roads with English road signs. Visit Argaka and you won’t be disappointed.

We can arrange taxi transfer by our own driver who knows where the property is and assist with car hire from the airport if desired. The property is professionally managed (you will always have a contact) and has linen changes and cleaning on a weekly basis (10-28 night stays). Air-Conditioning is included in the rental price as is a welcome pack of basic essentials for your arrival.**

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Jim says: "Just returned home after spending a week at this great villa. The villa is well equipped, and exceeded our expectations. The villa is set in a very peaceful location with lovely views of the Mediterranean. With a wife and two daughters having three bathrooms was a godsend! If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you. Be aware though that the nearest restaurant/taverna is not an easy walk at night. If you get a chance speak to the pool cleaner who is full of useful information and tips. The owners have taken on board the comment about the pool and it was indeed cleaned twice in the week we were there."
