A charming and romantic small family house off the beaten track and yet close to local cafe bars, restaurants and the crystal clear blue sea!
The outside has been designed to maximize the views from the house, and therefore the roof terrace on the first floor has a stunning vista of Hvar bay and the islands beyond! The patio garden has been designed with a built in barbecue and several terrace areas to enjoy the sun from a south west orientation.
The Island of Hvar is found off the main coast from Split. The nearest airport can be found in Split and in the holiday season there are a number of boats which travel to the island daily. If arriving by catamaran, the house is a 5 minutes walk, up, a number of steps! A car is not really needed as the town centre is vehicular free! 

The house is situated literally minutes away from the local beaches, 5 minutes walk, which is next to the Franciscan Monastery. Taxi boats to the local islands off Hvar town are 5 minutes walk in the other direction! Many of the islands have restaurants, and a private alcove can often be found even at the height of the season. Rent a boats can be found adjacent to the taxi boats.
It really is fair to say that pretty much everything is a five minute walk away, shops, super market, fish market, medical centre, dentist, hairdresser, church, cafe bars restaurants, even the cemetery! 

 

The house comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The house has 2 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the house cool.

The house has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 5 in the living room and 5 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The house is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque.

Close to the house you will find swimming, sailing, water skiing, wind surfing, climbing, walking, cycling, mountain biking, tennis, scuba diving.

My family and I were lucky enough to rent this gorgeous vacation home on the island of Hvar for three weeks. The accomodations were perfect in every way...comfy beds, great showers and all the comforts of home in a traditional stone house. The patio and bbq were wonderful for entertaining too. Rupert and Katia were a wealth of information about the island and catered to our every wish. I would recommend this rental to all my family and friends and plan on staying there again on my next trip to the island.
