Denia, a golfers paradise.

Lovers of golf are really in for a treat, the area has a growing number of challenging golf courses all within easy access of Denia.

Local golf courses include: Club de Golf Denia La Sella - 18 holes PGA venue (6 kilometres), Club de Golf Oliva Nova - 18 holes (12 kilometres), Club de Golf Javea - 9 holes (20 kilometres), Club de Golf Ifach - 9 holes (25 kilometres).

The Denia La Sella Golf Course, which Jose Maria Olazabal helped to design, is 15 minutes drive inland. This beautifully scenic course set in the foothills of the Montgo mountain with sea views is 18 holes, par 72 and 6,029 metres. Club facilities include: driving range, putting green, heated swimming pool, club bar and restaurant.

Within a half hour drive north along the local coastal road is the Oliva Nova Golf Course, designed by Seve Ballesteros. This testing course is 18 holes, par 72 and 7,051 metres. The club has a shop, driving range, restaurant, swimming pool and fitness centre.

Towards Valencia (less than 1 hour by car) is the famous El Saler course, ranked among the top 10 courses in Europe and top 50 courses in the world, and host of the Spanish Open and numerous PGA events.

The region has a special Mediterranean climate. Denia is recognised by the World Health Organisation as having one of healthiest climates in the world with an average 2500 hours of sunshine each year, sea temperatures ranging from 13°C minimum in winter to 26°C in summer, and air temperatures ranging from 15°C in winter to 32°C in summer.

This makes Denia an ideal location for year round holidays.

Minutes from the apartment are many blue flag beaches.

300 metres from the apartment are the blue flag beaches of Las Marinas. These long sandy beaches, ideal for adults and children alike, run for at least 20 kilometres to the north towards Gandia, and the city of Valencia. As well as children's beach playgrounds, every water activity is provided for in this area.

1.5 kms from the apartment is the beautiful Marineta Cassiana beach, a smaller sandy bay to one side of which Denia's newest marina has been built. South from here lie the rocky coves of Las Rotas & the protected marine area of Cabo de San Antonio.

The penthouse has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the penthouse cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm. The penthouse has a sauna.

The penthouse has television dvd. The music system will play cds, radio. A computer with Internet connection is also available for your use. Recreational activities available with the penthouse include a home gym.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. Elizabeth says: "The apartment is situated in a new, well appointed & well looked after complex, ideally positioned for a 5 mn stroll to the beach, or to the lovely town of Denia. We hired mountain bikes from Fun & Quads just around the corner on the seafront, & had a guided cycle tour from them through the orange groves. The complex is safe, quiet (we were there beginning of October), clean & attractive. The Concierge & his wife couldn't be more helpful to guests. We have visited Denia three times, & always find something new on each trip. The apartment has everything a guest needs for a comfortable & relaxing holiday. We stayed two weeks, & will be booking another two weeks in 2007."
