Orange Grove View is our newly-built South facing Disney vacation villa on The Manor at Westhaven in the Davenport area of South Orlando. The Manor is an exclusive gated community of 57 high class executive villas, all with large private shaded patios, with above average size private pools. Our villa offers exceptional luxury accommodation for your Florida vacation. 

A car is essential to make proper use of what the area has to offer. All the Disney and similar parks are within 15 to 20 minutes drive away. The Atlantic and Gulf Coasts are within 50 to 90 minutes drive away. Kissimmee, with all it’s attractions and restaraunts, is within 10 minutes drive. There is supermarket shopping within 5 minutes drive, and the main shopping malls, such as Florida Mall, and many other designer outlets, are all within 15 to 20 minutes drive.  

We chose this house for our Disney vacations because of its high quality build, above average accommodation, and because it is South facing. We wanted this because we also use it a lot, as well as renting out.

There are 2 Master Bedrooms, because very often 2 families share, and mums and dads would both like the best bedroom, but defer to their friends. Here they both get a Master Bedroom, each with en-suite bathroom and w/c. There are 2 twin bedded rooms, for the kids (or Grandparents) and a cot is available if required. There’s a 3rd bathroom/toilet for these two rooms, which also serves as a pool room.

There’s a spacious lounge, which is open plan with the superbly equipped kitchen, and breakfast nook. Cable TV, DVD, wireless broadband and a Playstation, for Dad, are all included. If there are 10 in the party, one of the sofas opens out into a Queensize bed.

The fridge/freezer has an ice maker (you’ll need plenty for the Pina Coladas) there’s a short cycle washing machine and tumble dryer, so keep the suitcases light. There’s plenty of bed linen and towels, in fact we can’t think of anything we haven’t provided.

The 6 seater dining room opens off the lounge. We provide a high chair on request at no extra charge.

Outside there’s a partially shaded patio area, and a larger than average south-facing pool and spa. We've provided a demountable security fence to keep the kids out of the pool, when an adult is not on hand to supervise. This area is ideal for alfresco dining and barbeques, which with underwater lighting provide the perfect ambience, and, being South facing, they get the sun all day long. In cooler weather the pool and spa can be heated (up to 90 degrees if needed) Both Master Bedrooms have sliding patio doors that open directly onto the pool deck, as does the lounge. No excuse then for not rolling out of bed, straight into the pool on those balmy Florida mornings.

There's a free telephone for incoming and US, Canada and European landline calls.

The villa is fully air conditioned, but ceiling fans in every room, and on the covered patio, add to the Florida ambience.

There’s a double garage for storage which also contains a pool table and air hockey for a rainy afternoon.

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin and 1 cots, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Living Room. This gives room for up to 10 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls. Recreational activities available with the villa include a snooker/pool table.

There is room for 7 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing patio area, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, tennis.

Close to the villa you will find golf, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a themepark, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, horse riding, a museum, a zoo.
