Le Perroquet is set in grounds of 3.75 acres, containing mature gardens and lots of grassland. To the rear of the house there is a shared 10x5 underwater floodlit swimming pool, which has a large tiled terraced area around it containing sun loungers for your use. You have your own garden furniture and barbeque. This is all surrounded by open countryside and the river Dordogne at the bottom of the garden. 

GROUND FLOOR
Kitchen/dining room: The large kitchen/dining room gives you plenty of space to prepare and eat your meals in comfort. It is nicely equipped and has antique pine country furniture. In the Napoleonic marble style fireplace stands a wood burning stove.

Entrance hall: The French doors bring you into this tiled, light and spacious area which has French furniture, the old wooden staircase takes you to the landing on the first floor. Also there is a seperate toilet and hand basin.

Lounge: On entering this room your first sight is of a large inglenook fireplace, with it's original brick and stonework it is quite a feature. Set inside is a wood burning stove.

FIRST FLOOR
This has four bedrooms, all of which have chestnut parquet flooring, original oak beams and are furnished with antique furniture.

Master bedroom: This is a large en-suit bedroom, full of character with all it's beams and original brick chimmney breast. It has a lovely dark wood French double bed, bedside cupboads, armoire and chest of drawers. The en-suit contains shower, toilet and wash basin.

Bedrooms two and three: These both have a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Bedroom four: This has one double bed and one single bed, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers.

Shower room: The shower is spacious and multi functional. There is also a toilet and wash basin.
 

The dordogne is a beautiful part of france which has stunning scenery, a lovely climate and thousands of attractions for you to visit. We are in the perigord purple area which is the area around Bergerac. Being famous for it's wines there are several wine trails you can go around. 

The farm house comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 4 double and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 9 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The farm house has 2 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use.

The farm house has television video, dvd.

There is room for 9 in the living room and 9 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

This is a non-smoking farm house

The farm house is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking.

The farm house is right beside swimming, fishing.

Close to the farm house you will find walking, cycling, horse riding, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the farm house you will find golf.

go-karting, this is to be found on the outskirts of Bergerac just 15 min away.
