We moved to France in 2003 with the intention of setting up & running a French Gite which would be very different from anything else available, providing very well equipped and clean accommodation and a level of care and detail which is so rightly demanded, to make our guests feel welcome and hopefully, eager to return.

 

We had viewed quite a few properties throughout Europe & decided to try France. We were taken to La Soumaille on one March evening. After driving up the 400 metre drive we took one look at the views & made an offer there & then without paying too much attention to the house. (Fortunately the house was in very good condition!)
All of our criteria were met, Beautiful views, Very Tranquil, Lake With Waterfall, Lots Of Land (27 acres) & Our Own Woodland.

Accommodation In France At It's Best.

 

Most of the bars, shops & restaurants are situated in Tulle, the nearest large town which is a 15 mins drive  

La Soumaille is situated between two hamlets in the beautiful and unspoilt Correzian countryside. Set in 27 acres of private woodland and meadow with truly breathtaking views. Peace and tranquillity, A dream for the artist or photographer .ANCV accepted.

The house comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 single and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The house has 1 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use.

The house has television and home cinema with video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

This is a non-smoking house

The house is in a very quiet area. It has a south facing garden, a west facing patio area, a north facing balcony, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The house is right beside walking, cycling, mountain biking.

Close to the house you will find swimming, horse riding, tennis, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the house you will find sailing, boat hire, skiing/snowboarding.

Go-Karting track, 3 man-made beaches, numerous fishing lakes

Spectacular Waterfalls at Gimel-Les-Cascades, The Beautiful Red Village At Collanges La Rouge
