Where we are
Jardines de Casares is adjacent to Bahia de Casares (Casares Bay) on a beautiful, unspoilt stretch of coast on the Costa del Sol. Situated in an ideal location, equal distance between Marbella to the east and Gibraltar to the west, it is minutes form the small towns of Sabinillas and Manilva and only 10 minutes from Estepona and Casares village. Airports are easily accessilble, with Gibraltar a mere 20 minutes drive in one direction and Malaga under an hour in the other.

The property was completed in October 2005 and sits just 300 metres from the beach, close to many golf courses and the marinas of Estepona and Duquesa. 
Property Description
The townhouse has three bedrooms and is designed to an excellent standard, spread over 3 floors. The house is well equipped and includes marble floors in all bedrooms, hall and lounge and a fully fitted kitchen comprising of hob, extractor, electric oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

There is also dual air conditioning and heating in every room, TV, DVD player and satellite TV with free to air English channels.

The double glazed windows and doors have PVC roller shutters and decorative wrought iron.

The main bedroom occupies the whole of the top floor and has a luxury en-suite bathroom with shower and under floor heating.

The two twin bedrooms are located downstairs from the lounge and share a large bathroom with bath, shower attachment and bidet and under floor heating.

All three bedrooms have built in wardrobes, marble floors and are tastefully furnished.

The living area on the middle floor is spacious and open plan with a dining area for 6 and a fireplace as well as the modern well equipped kitchen. French doors open out onto a large terrace which overlooks the pool to the left and the mountains to the right. The terrace is South West facing and so is bathed in sunlight from mid morning until sunset.

The terrace is furnished with sun loungers and a table and chairs. You can park your car right outside the front of the house.

The development enjoys mediterranean landscaped gardens and 2 communal swimming pools whilst the area enjoys perfect weather just about all the year round.

Numerous restaurants and bars are within walking distance as well as shops and supermarkets, the beach and the mountains.  
Local Activities
Puerto Duquesa is only a few minutes away and offers good restaurants, bars and boutiques. It is charming and part of the attraction is that it is more peaceful than other Marinas on the coast. In the summer the port comes alive in the evenings with plenty of bars and restaurants offering live music and entertainment.

There are numerous small shops to support the needs of the sailing community plus local residents and visitors. Duquesa Business Centre in Galerias offers business and Internet facilities. In July and August there is a tourist market in the port on a Saturday evening.

Nearby Estepona, traditionally a small Andalusian fishing port, is now one of the fastest growing and most popular destinations on the Costa Del Sol. Despite its recent growth, Estepona has managed to preserve its peaceful town atmosphere. There are also a variety of sport amenities in Estepona port along with dolphin spotting trips and fishing excursions.

The beach in Estepona, named La Rada, is one of the best on the Costa Del Sol and the only one to be awarded the Blue Flag Award. The award was granted in recognition of the beach's cleanliness, safety and facilities. There is also a quiet cove named Playa de Cristo, which is ideal for children due to its shallow, safe waters.

You may also enjoy a visit to the Rock of Gibraltar, just 20 minutes drive away. Gibraltar is a beacon which signals the position of the Strait of Gibraltar, the narrow neck which separates Europe from Africa and provides the only link between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.

And of course just 20 minutes to the East is Marbella. Regarded as the Costa Del Sol's jewel in the crown. Its unique allure has produced a style and character quite distinct from other coastal towns. Marbella offers both the quintessentially Spanish qualities of its "Old Town" alongside the modern landmarks of designer labels and contemporary infrastructure.

LOUISE says: "We had a fantastic three weeks. July 2008. A family from Norway with three children. The complex and apartment were just as shown on the pictures. The apartment was very spacious and had everything you needed. Especially the kitchen. The saucepans need to be re-newed as they had become rusty.We thought this was only because the apartment hasnt been used for a long time.This was the only fault. We didnt make much food at home, so it didnt bother us. We bought a grill and used this a few times and left it at the apartment for the next people to use. The air conditioning worked really well and kept us cool. The bedding and towels were lovely and clean. Mike and his wife were lovely people who helped us when we arrived and were always around if you needed to ask them anything. You need a car if you are going to get around, but it is possible to walk to the beach in 10 minutes. We managed to travel around a lot and see many of the sights up in the mountains and along the coast. When eating out we tried to stay away from the tourist places and hold ourselves to the local places where you would find mostly Spanish people. These places usually have better food and cheaper prices. The people that own the apartment were very professional with information We had no problem with the booking at all. Highly recommended to families with children. We hope to go back again."
