The city itself was the second in the world to be names a world Heritage site by Fonsal in 1978. For years the area was neglected by the locals and crime was a problem. But now with a recent surge of interest from international investors, the area has been revitalized as one of Quito’s best places to visit and live. Its charming cobblestone streets and Renaissance churches and Colonial stately homes make it one of Latin America’s most culturally distinguished areas.


 

The apartment is in a 100 unit building with 24 hr security guard and parking garage. It is a newly built buidling that was completed in the last two years. It has a public trollley stop to south and north Quito in front of the building and walking distance to good restaurants and food markets. The apartment is very private, secure and accessable to all parts of Quito. It is located as you enter Colonial Quito. 

Terra Firma properties operate and manages our apartments much like a hotel. We provide maid cleaning and laundry service. We also can provide for a cook and private chauffer. Our travel agency Excelsior Tours can offer a English, Italian, French or German Valet to assist you when you need it. We also offer tours of Colonial Quito as well as other interesting places in this great country.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment building is secure and the friendly guardias are always willing to help you. The apartment is the perfect location for a visitor to catch the Troley, Ecovia or walk the streets of Quito's colonial old town. There is an internet cafe right below the building and several markets nearby. There is a bit of noise from the street and children playing in the courtyard of the building, but unless you are very sensitive to noise, it is easy to ignore. "
