The city itself was the second in the world to be names a world Heritage site by Fonsal in 1978. For years the area was neglected by the locals and crime was a problem. The apartment is in a 100 unit building with 24 hr security guard and parking garage. It is a newly built buidling that was completed in the last two years. Most Ecaudorian live there but also some Americans and Europeans. It has a public trollley stop to south and north Quito in front of the building and walking distance to good restaurants and food markets. The apartment is very private, secure and accessable to all parts of Quito. It is located as you enter Colonial Quito.

Quiet, clean, comfortable, efficient. Public transportation available right outside. Only a short walk to all the interesting sights in Old City. Management was polite and professional, met all my needs and questions promptly. I travel a lot and this was one of the nicer places Ive stayed."
