The property gives really comfortable accommodation for 2 in a modern ground floor flat in the Shore area of Leith, roughly 2 miles from the centre of Edinburgh to where there is a frequent bus service that also runs during the night. A couple minutes from the flat there are restaurants and cafes and the area has a definite continental feel to it. There is a cinema complex in the Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre that is just a short 5-10 minute walk away.

 

Although there are two bedrooms its nicely comfortable for a couple rather than being choc-a-bloc.. However, one bedroom has twin beds and the other a double bed and that room has a recently renewed en-suite shower/toilet. There is also a bathroom, good-sized well-equipped kitchen, and a livingroom with a small television. The flat has been simply furnished from IKEA and John Lewis so is nice and neat and clean looking and is in fact also easy to keep clean. It has gas central heating and is nice and cosy! The weekly rate is based on 2 people occupying the flat - there is an extra charge of £50 for each of a possible third or fourth person. 

The flat is only for non smokers. It is our second home and there is definite evidence of our frequent visits. We leave the flat prepared for guests and hope to find it the same for us on our next visit. We feel it is really not suitable for small children and anyway as previously mentioned it is more comfortable for a couple or single person looking to relax after exploring the sites or spending the day doing the shops.

Cleaning: As mentioned, we would hope the property to be left in a similar state as when found on arrival. If you don’t want to clean it yourself before leaving, please inform us before hand. There would be an extra charge of £30 for this service.  

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The apartment has television video. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
