Hi

Our names are Chris and Karen and we purchased our lovely apartment at the end of 2003. Two years later it is now finished and we are now enjoying holidays there as often as possible, but with two children of school age this is not as frequent as we would like. We have therefore decided to let it out to other people to enjoy the friendly and relaxed island of Cyprus.

We decided on our apartment after seeing several by different developers in various locations in the Paphos area. We finally decided on our apartment after the first visit with our agent. Location for us was one of the most important factors in choosing the apartment and we feel our apartment is in an ideal location. Close enough to all the activities in the main tourist areas whilst enjoying the peace and tranquillity of a village environment.

You can really relax and unwind here especially in the evenings sitting on the balcony enjoying the sunset with a Brandy Sour or a glass or 2 of local wine, finishing off with a visit to the local taverna to sample some of the delicious locally grown food.

The neighbouring villages of Chlorakas and Kissonerga are just a short drive away and offer a great selection of good value tavernas.
 

The small low level complex of apartments and townhouses are built to a very high standard. The centre of the complex is the pool and sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. A wooden gazebo with picnic tables offers guests some escape from the sun if required. Allocated undercover parking space is also available. Both lift and stairs serve the apartment and wonderful views of the coastline and surrounding area can be viewed from the roof.

The apartment comes with 2 balconies. The main one (with table and chairs) enjoys views of the pool and gardens andt the second one off the twin bedroom with views out across the orchards to Coral Bay has 2 chairs.

We have furnished the apartment to a very high standard and feel that we are offering a ‘home from home’ experience.

The two large bedrooms (I double, 1 twin) offer plenty of built in storage. The master bedroom has a safe fitted for guests valuables. The master bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with a full length walk-in shower. Having two bathrooms we feel makes this an ideal apartment for two couples sharing (no need to be up first for the bathroom here!) or families alike.

The large well equipped kitchen even has a dishwasher, so there is no need to get your hands wet in the kitchen sink. Everything is available for you to rustle up a family meal if you wish. We have also provided plastic glasses for use by the pool so you can stay refreshed. The cool box is also useful if you choose to take a picnic to the beach or up in the Troodos mountains.

The lounge has comfortable 2 and 3 seater sofas for relaxing in after a hard days activities. The TV comes with satellite and if that’s not enough then you can always watch a DVD from the selection left in the apartment.

Car hire is recommended to get the most of touring this part of Cyprus.
 

Coral Bay is only a few minutes away by car and has a lovely sheltered sandy beach. The high street is full of bars and restaurants and comes to life when the sun goes down.

In about 10 minutes from the apartment in the opposite direction you will find the town of Paphos and Paphos Harbour. The harbour offers many restaurants from where you can enjoy fresh fish and watch the world go by. For the younger or more energetic guests clubs and bars can be found on the aptly named Bar Street.

There are many archaeological sites of interest around Paphos Harbour including the Mosaics in the House of Dionysos.

Troodos mountains offers skiing from about January to March. In the summer months they make an ideal choice for walks as the temperature is always a few degrees cooler. Pano Platres is the main mountain resort and is a good base to start exploring either by car, mountain bike or by foot. Visit the Kaledonia Falls, a waterfall which falls 20m into a shallow pool. Enjoy a nice cold drink in one of the many tranquil mountain villages

In the apartment you will find varios Paphos guide books together with a visitors book with recommendations of things to do and places to eat. 

The apartment has remote control air-conditioning units and electric wall mounted heaters for the cooler months. Ceiling fans have been fitted to all rooms. Both bathrooms have heated towel rails. A cool box and a mobile phone are left in the apartment for guests to use. A z-bed has been provided for a 5th person if required ideal for a child or small adult. The low level apartment block comes with both stairs and lift. Access to the roof offers wonderful views of the coastline overlooking orchards to Coral Bay and the mountains. Included in the rental price - Complimentary welcome pack, air-con/heating, together with all bed linen/towels (please bring your own beach towels). The apartment is thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival and all linen is changed weekly on bookings of 2 weeks or longer.

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 single sofa bed. This gives room for up to 5 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool.

The apartment has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 5 in the living room and 5 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The location of the apartment means you will hear some noise, though not excessive. It has access to a shared selec t aspect swimming pool, a west facing garden, a west facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views. If you are driving there is a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The apartment is right beside swimming.

Close to the apartment you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, tennis, a sports center, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a themepark, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will find climbing, flying.

Dee says: "The property was clean, well presented and had all of the facilities that we required for the holiday. The location was great, although if you do not drive the nearest bus stop was a walk. The pool was clean and well maintained, the only downside was that there not a shallow section for infants. Overall the property exceeded our expectations and we would definitely consider returning and wouldnt hesitate recommending to our friends and family"
