A charming house located in the heart of the ancient walled medina of Essaouira, Morocco. Minutes from the hustle and bustle of the souks, the house has been decorated with unique style and attention to detail, and has an airy, Moroccan chic feel.

The house has 3 beautifully decorated bedrooms, 2 doubles and 1 twin, the twin with ensuite shower/bathroom facilities, the second bathroom having a luxurious oversized bath. Cotton bed linen and towels are provided for guest’s use. In addition to the traditionally decorated dining room (seating 6-8), and more informal style sitting room with an open log fire (seating 6), there are 2 terraces, giving guests plenty of space for relaxing. The first terrace includes a seating area and table for breakfasts or digestifs al fresco, the second raised terrace, with sheltered areas, provides an ideal spot for soaking up the sun, or gazing at the star-studded north African sky.

Additional facilities include: washroom with washing machine; satellite TV; CD player; telephone.

There is a daily cleaning service, and also the option to order traditionally cooked food to enjoy in the comfort of the house at your request. There is a guardian on hand to help and advise as required.

There are links to the local surf club, so watersports including windsurfing/surfing/kitesurfing/bodyboarding can be easily arranged. Also; camel treks / quad biking / horse riding...and much more!

 

Essaouira lies on the Atlantic coast, 100 miles from Marrakech. It takes its name - 'town of little ramparts' from the impressive fortifications left by its Portugese founders.
The unique charm of this town rests in the harmonious blend of its many different aspects; its moderate climate and superb beach, its working harbour and thuya wood workshops, its numerous souks and craft shops, its local artists and gnaoua musicians. Essaouira is a beautiful, unique and relaxed town. It has sunshine and bright blue skies nearly all year round. The medina (or walled town) is pedestrian only. Essaouira is quite a small town, so a car is only necessary if one plans on taking day trips to nearby beaches or beyond. There are car hire agencies where it is possible to hire by the day.
Everything in Essaouira is within walking distance. 

The house comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The house has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use.

The house has television satellite/cable. The music system will play cds. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this house.
