We have pleasure in presenting this extremely spacious 4 bedroomed apartment which is situated on one level on the middle floor of an historical town house.The house has many beautiful original period features, which include vaulted ceilings and authentic original floor tiles. The property comprises of entrance hallway, lounge, dining room, bathroom, laundry room, kitchen and a further dining area. The large kitchen has a traditional wood burning fire place along with the more modern conveniences. This opens out onto a courtyard which is equipped with patio table & chairs for outside dining. A further sun terrace is situated on the upper floor off the patio where you can experience views of the Gran Sasso & Maiella mountain ranges. The Abruzzo region has so much to offer the the holiday maker who wants to experience real italian culture. For the more adventurous, the Gran Sasso & Maiella mountains both have a mass expanse of National Park to explore which is the home to bears & wolves .Here the sightseeing views are breathtaking of the Abruzzo region at its best.
Also on the piazza is a tourist information bureau where valuable brochures and advice on exploring the abruzzo region and places of interest can be found. Together with directions to the 3 local museums and 2 churches situated within the historical town of loreto.

Not forgetting on a Thursday morning Loreto comes alive with the local market situated in the streets leading up to and surrounding tthe piazza, where you can experience italian culture and sample the local cuisine known as ' porchetta' which is a suckling pig on hot spit served fresh.

Loreto town has many convenience stores including a supermarket, pharmacy, post office, cash point facility, baker, butcher pizzerias and an italian take away, where the local traditional cuisine is freshly made for you and is ready for collection after enjoying a cool drink in one of the outside seating bars.

The apartment is perfectly situated within the historical centre of loreto and is only a 3 minute walk from the piazza where you can take a leisuely stroll or enjoy a drink or coffee in one of the numerous bars.The local restaurants are within walking distance and specialise in local cuisine which is well worth a try.these are New Evo,and a restaurant within Hotel Loreblisk which is open to the public with breathtaking views over the town. Loreto Aprutino is an historical & cultural gem, a place to spend time for the perfect holiday. It has maintained its authenticity of real italian life.

The town of Loreto is very proud of its religious traditions and celebrates the festival of San Zopito every June which attracts a large number of tourists to celebrate the kneeling down of a white ox with a small child upon its back. This festival is extremely symbolic..

It is also perfectly located for both beach and mountain holiday.Montisilvano beach being 20 minutes away. Pescara airport 30 minutes . Alternatively a day skiing in the Gran Sasso mountains is a mere 40 minutes by car.The enchanting town of Penne is well worth a visit to experience the architecture of a town which was actually built before Rome. The streets of Penne are lined with numerous shops and restaurants. this takes you approx. 15 minutes by car.
Car is essential to explore the suurounding area.

There is room for 7 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Yvonne says: "The property was fantastic! It was so much bigger than we expected and with 7 people sharing the accommodation, we had more than enough room to enjoy our own space. The setting was idyllic and the views were breath-taking. It was very well positioned for seeing both the gorgeous countryside inland and also to enjoy the beautiful clean beaches. The streets in the town are extremely narrow, but we had no problems with a VW Passat estate. On Thursdays there is a lively market blocking the normal route out, but there is an alternative street to exit the town. There are plenty of bars and cafes in the Piazza and an awesome pizzeria at the top of the street from the accommodation, that offers take-away as well as eat-in. If you are interested in trips, you can take a full day-trip to Rome by picking up the coach in the Piazza in the early morning and returning around 10pm that evening or you can stay over in Rome and get the coach back the next day. Also, roughly about 2 hours away is the ancient town of Lanciano where the Miracle of the Eucharist took place. It was a very spiritual and moving experience to see and one that I would recommend to anyone who believes in God. In summary, this accommodation offers you everything you wish for a holiday to remember. "
