Villa Belgard is an ideal family house set in its own extensive grounds. It is within walking distance of an exceptionally lovely beach with a beach bar. Other beaches are only a few minutes drive away.

The accommodation is built on two levels and comprises of on the ground floor an entrance hall, living/dining room with digital sateliite TV with BBC channels, a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, full bathroom, twin bedroom and a double bedroom both with doors leading onto the pool terrace. On the first floor is another double bedroom with en suite bathroom and patio doors to the balcony of which there are views of surrounding countryside and the sea.

The swimming pool (12m x 5m) has roman steps and is enclosed on three sides, offering complete privacy and surrounded by shaded and sunny terraces together with a BBQ area.

jennifer says: "The villa was large and had everything we needed for our stay in portugal. We were met on our arrival by a very helpful lady who pointed out local supermarkets and good resteraunts. The only thing that possibley let down the property was the cold pool which we didnt realise wasnt heated, but saying that we went in the pool on the hotter days and it was barable. The villa was quite quiet but there were lots of dogs barking at night and a bit of noise from a local bar. The maid service was good and we appreciated having our beds made and clean towels. There were many nice resteraunts in the area and our favorite which i would definatley reccomend was Atlantico which was situated in nearby Guia. There are many local shops and supermarkets which although a bit pricey did provide us with all we needed and most local people spoke and understood english quite well. All in all we enjoyed our stay at villa belgard and felt it provided a good value holiday home which met our familys needs."
